Happy Lunar New Year, Happy Imbolc, and Happy February! At present we have 5 unclaimed pinch hits, 100 fandoms & 159 works in the collection, and 35 open assignments where pinch hitters & other creators are working.

The long period between deadline and reveals may feel odd - it does to me and I set it up - but I am hopeful that this, along with pinch hitters' efforts, will allow us to reveal as planned on the 26th.

Betas are not mandatory. However, this exchange includes the rule: Works submitted to the collection must be complete, standalone, and meet a basic standard of spelling, grammar, accessibility, and formatting. So please consider getting a second opinion on your work, or at least going over it several times yourself, whether to clean up marks introduced by scanning or typos in captions, or to improve the spelling, grammar, and flow. Please check over your summary and tags.

Especially, please check your recipients' Do-Not-Wants. It will be horrible if a work you've spent a long time on - that your recipient has been anticipating for a long time too - is ruined by an overlooked or misinterpreted DNW. I don't have the capacity as mod to check all works for DNWs before reveals; I must instead rely on you. Thank you for taking care.
