What is it, in summary? So you're a girl and then suddenly you're in a fantasy world where people do FASHION BATTLES instead of war or punching each other in the face. Your talking cat and you are having a great time and then there's a coup d'etat and brainwashing and vampires and ethical questions about free will vs. peace. Also your BFF has now been possessed by an evil entity and the entire world is at war.
What do you love about it? The art is super, super pretty. I actually like the lore and the plot a lot, even if it's really at odds with the cuteness of the game. The characters are interesting and pretty, there's a lot of fun tropes but also a lot of angst. It also has a lot of f/f potential.
What sort of things are you likely to request for it? Shippy fic about side characters. One of the ships is a f/f non-con vampire/elf ship that's pretty much canon (BDSM vampire: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/lovenikki/images/d/d4/Blood_Lust_1.png and the censored accompanying suit: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/lovenikki/images/7/7f/Flickering_Pistill_uncensored.jpg). The other is a Winter Soldier-esque dude and his childhood BFF which just has a lot of subtext (https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/lovenikki/images/5/56/Heavens_Hidden_Pathway_2.jpg/).
Are there sections of canon (rather than the whole canon) that can be consumed by themselves to fulfill your requests? Yes! Flynn/Orlando is a more complicated thing because it includes several chapters of the game and a bunch of events, but Evelyn/Helsin just requires reading a few Wiki pages because they're part of a specific event.
