Most of these queries are about groups and ensembles. If you want to nominate a group, please also help out tag sorters by clarifying who belongs to that group. FFFX's nominations are designed around relationships between individual characters, so if your nomination works out to "my favorite character + some others but I'm very flexible about which others", it may work best to nominate "char: my favorite character".

I can try!
Using Star Wars as an example, the 'Creator's Choice of' ones would be like asking for a Stormtrooper to be featured in the story--maybe a named famous one, maybe an unnamed one, maybe one where there's not a lot of lore (which is most of them). So like the Sororitas, you could pick a canon character like Mirina (very obscure) Morvenn Vahl (so famous she has her own book) or just...a sort of OC.

Sanguinius is the Primarch (leader/father) of the Blood Angels in the Horus Heresy. So something like that could be Sanguinius and any of his command staff (the Sanguinary Guard, Captain Raldoron, Chief Librarian Kano, etc. There's like THOUSANDS of people in the Blood Angels to choose from, and plenty of room for, say, an OC that fits the Heresy setting.

Not sure if that clarifies much but I tried! The canon itself is very friendly to OC creation (which because it's dudes they call homebrew) so each Legion or Chapter has enough rules about the legion that would make an OC viable--all Blood Angels are obligate blood drinkers, all Black Templars wake up and choose violence all day every day, etc.

If this label could mean either a canonical named character or a canonical unknown-but-assumed character, it doesn't work for my purposes here. I'll approve as Original Character but I'm open to adding a couple of things during sign-ups if that doesn't suit the nominator's needs.

+1 with thecodexabides info on how these characters are related to each other. "Blood Angels" refers to a knightly order that is led by / fathered by Sanguinius. Adepta Sororitas the term for a member of an organization of warrior-nuns. Adeptus Astartes is the term for a knight who serves the empire in a knightly order. Dreadnought is a category of Adeptus Astartes who is typically very old or physically disabled and uses a robotic/mecha full body prosthetic to fight.

I might in this circumstance, in your position, assume the nominator meant "original character of that category" and approve as:

Char: Original Adepta Sororitas Character
Char: Original Adeptus Astartes Character
Char: Original Dreadnought Character

...though it is tough to say in the absence of a comment from the nominator, as technically the nominated tags could be an attempt to include canonical characters in their scope.
