Warhammer 40.000 & Warhammer 40.000: Rogue Trader (Video Game)

I nominated in WH40k fandom but not in the video game, but I'm familiar with the game too, so I am happy to answer any other questions as needed.

WH40k is an "all media types" fandom with a large amount of media - books, several standalone video game series, and tabletop game stories. I nominated tags for Ciaphas, Amberley, Asurmen, and Jain Zar. More specific tags for these fandoms are suggested below.

Ciaphas Cain and Amberley Vail belong to the "Warhammer 40k (Novels) - Various Authors" fandom primarily - there's a canonical for that. If you want a more specific fandom tag, no canonical exists yet, but I would use "Ciaphas Cain - Sandy Mitchell" to refer to their novel series.

Jain Zar and Asurmen belong are featured in the overarching IP as whole, but get most of their characterizations in the Phoenix Lords novel series. You can use the "Warhammer 40k (Novels) - Various Authors" fandom for them. If you want a more specific fandom tag, no canonical exists yet, but I would use "Phoenix Lords - Gav Thorpe" to refer to their novel series.

Rogue Trader's characters are The Rogue Trader, Heinrix, Marazhai, Abelard, and a few others. (I didn't nom in that fandom, but hope that helps!)

Sorry, I'm not willing to accept groups where you had main members in mind but there are many potential other members - in that case I feel the label creates potential ambiguity between a creator and a requester.

I think we can squeeze in all the Crows by first name into a single nomination, but my understanding was that the Crows are Kaz' gang and that includes a lot more people than just those who go on the mission to the northern location (it's been a while, sorry, which is why I was asking /o\).

Given the breadth of membership of JLU, we won't accept that one, sorry, or 141.

Warhammer 40000 and Rogue Trader

Hello. I have requested both fandoms. As firebatvillain already said, "Warhammer 40,000" tag is an umbrella, all media types tag for many different medias. My nominations for that tag are for worldbuilding and original characters in the setting, so I can't recommend a more specific tag for them.

Warhammer 40000: Rogue Trader is a single video game set in the universe and my nominations for it are characters and relationship including characters that don't appear (to my knowledge) in any other warhammer media. Arguably, they could be nominated under the wider "Warhammer 40,000" tag, but as the core fandom for these seems to be different, I felt it was more appropriate to use separate tags. I can change my nominations if that causes any issues

In this exchange, I'm not willing to approve both an umbrella fandom, and a fandom that falls within that umbrella, alongside each other. So I would like to either:

- split up Warhammer 40.000 into smaller properties, and approve Rogue Trader, or

- re-label Warhammer 40.000 in a way that coherently excludes Rogue Trader, and approve Rogue Trader, or

- fold Rogue Trader into the Warhammer 40.000 nomination.

Which do you think would work best?

The Queen's Riders are a formal group with a discrete and known membership in-universe, though only some of them are named in canon. I'm interested in this tag rather than just "Char: Buriram Tourakom" because I'm specifically interested in her work and role within the group (and interested in the group itself). "The Queen's Riders (Tortall)" is a canonical character tag and "Buriram Tourakom & The Queen's Riders" is a canonical relationship tag on AO3, so work checkers would not need canon knowledge to check for proper tagging, if that helps?

If it does not qualify, would either "Buriram Tourakom & Original Queen's Rider Member" or "Char: Original Queen's Rider Member" be acceptable?

Hi! I saw the other post and I hope everything is as okay as it reasonably can be.

I'm commenting about two nominations under The Silmarillion. The following two pairings are the same pairing:

Annatar/Celebrimbor (Silmarillion)
Celebrimbor/Sauron (Silmarillion)

For unclear reasons, I believe the AO3 wranglers have also separated them, but Annatar and Sauron are two names used by the same character. They are not separate people.

After nominations closed I went to double check that mine had all been approved when I noticed that one of my OW noms seems to have been written over with a different ship. I had nominated “Abusive Commanding Officer/Burnt Out Mech Pilot (Any/NB) (OW)” but now that slot is filled with “Any: Stalker Security Android/Oblivious Bartender Android (OW)”. Is it possible to have my original tag added to the tagset?

Apologies for the late reply! I am the nominator for the Murderbot Diaries prompt and the Original Work prompt "Court Wizard Who Dabbles In Dark Magic/Royal Soldier Who Believes Wizard Wants To Take Over The Kingdom".

For Perhelion's crew, I believe that it includes the following characters:

For the Original Work prompt, I had honestly forgot that wizard is usually a male magic user, so unspecified gender/gender-neutral was what I was intending.

It's not necessary for any of those characters to have existing tags on AO3 or to have last names.

I will approve Perihelion's crew, but if you're not 100% sure of who belongs on that crew, you might request the tag and get a gift about a different character whom your creator remembers as being in this category.
