Alien Series - Nominator of Char: Xenomorph Characters (Alien Series), could I please check if this means "any (2 or more) Xenomorphs who appear in any Alien movie" or if it means original xenomorph characters?

Nominator of Lieutenant Columbo (Columbo) & Any Character from Any Fandom, let's discuss please? My policy is not to approve Creator's Choice of Fandom as I don't feel this is compatible with the lack of freeforms and the long creation period in this exchange. Are there any other things you're interested in for Columbo such that "mash him up with a character from any other fandom" could be a prompt among many prompts? Otherwise, interested in your thinking!

Somewhere there was a tip on shortening crossovers that were too long and putting the explanation of what they actually were on a post.

Doing it here, since I can't find where I originally read the instruction.

Julian Bashir (ST:DS9)/Elim Garak (ST:DS9)/Simon Tam (Firefly (TV)) & Kelas Parmak (ST:DS9) & River Tam (Firefly (TV))

I shortened 'Firefly (TV)' to FF to get it to fit.

I've approved your crossover. I approved it according to the logic of: if two characters in sequence in the tag belong to the same fandom, the fandom only needs to be listed for the last character. That saves space.

I do want to check with you about Kelas Parmak. This seems to be a novels-only character rather than a show character, and the nominated tag seems to cover the shows. It looks like you've nominated him in DS9. Could you please nominate and request them under a separate tag?

As to Parmak, while that is true, in other exchanges, he is nominated under the show, despite not being formally part of the show. (Tho' I have heard rumors about him being mentioned once in an episode?)

As a rule, I stay very far away from beta canon, but it just occurred to me that I believe he is mentioned in A Stitch in Time, so I can nominate him under that if necessary.

How would you like me to do that, since I have used my slots and I have him under my DS9 nominations as well as Crossover nominations?

The crossover ones shouldn't be a problem as long as AO3 lets me (tho' it might not since you approved it?), but I don't know what to do about the show ones, as I have never had the question before.

Please advise and I will go and do after I have properly woken up for the day.

Since I see all of your unapproved DS9 nominations for Kelas Parmak are in combination with DS9 show characters, we could approve them under Crossover Fandom, if you like? Alternately Stitch in Time book would work!

That would be fine - and much appreciated! - on my part as long as you are okay with the fact that I - entirely in good faith, I promise! - would be getting a couple of extra slots or an extra fandom slot, whichever way you decided to go.

Either under Crossover or 'A Stitch in Time' would be wonderful - whichever you would find easiest to pounce.
