Apostle (2018)

It's the story of two men struggling with issues of faith and how you can find what you've always been looking for in the strangest of places (and goriest of events). I love their interaction in the movie, but I always wished for more, especially given the ending, where it's made pretty clear that one of them is probably a god that's all primed to be worshiped by the other. Just the looks they give each other at the end - Thomas, knowing and resigned to his fate, while Malcolm has just had an epiphany and it's “oh, if I lost everything that ever mattered to me so I could get Thomas, I'm fairly sure it's going to be worth it.

So there's a lot to work with in the ending – how does the island rebuild its religion now that most of its former devotees have died or fled? Does it evolve over the years and how does do Malcolm and Thomas deal with unwanted intruders? There's also the plot hook of Jennifer and Andrea's escape – do they return to see what became of their family? I['d also love anything where somehow Malcolm benefits from being Thomas's first acolyte (and more) – perhaps the island has its own cycle of renewal and allows them both to live long past their natural lifespan.
Seriously, Tacitus, What Did The Druids Ever Do To You?
The historical setting of this movie is absolutely fantastic, but I'd be interested in seeing this set in a different time period. Maybe something way back, during the Roman Conquest of Wales, where Thomas and Malcolm both end up learning that yeah, maybe Tacitus wasn't completely full of shit. Or something far more modern would be great too – nothing better than going to a place where your cell phone really should work, but it doesn't and oh fuck, now the trees are eating me.
The One Where Malcolm Wonders If It's Worship or Blasphemy
So there's that whole part where the Goddess calls Thomas her child and yeah, it's supposed to be not literal, since it's pretty clear she's never left the island and he's never been there, but what if it wasn't? What if through some sort of magical weird bullshit, Thomas is born from her? I can see a couple of possibilities – one where he never learns of it until he's on the island and then it just gets deeply awkward when everyone realizes that or one where he's on the island from birth and grows up aware of who he is and definitely not crushing on the one guy in the village who doesn't think that Thomas needs to be chained up and drained of blood when he comes of age.

The other's the embodiment of hope and truth, beloved by all to the point that even the villains respect him. Together they fight Nazis, most likely get turned on by each other's past heroism, and probably have their biggest quarrels over who gets to sacrifice themselves this time! It's been a while since I've requested this and received a lovely story for it, but I was reminded of how much I adored it recently!

“We'll always have Paris” means a lot to Victor, considering it's where he met Rick. Feel free to fudge timelines here if you need to as well as motivations for why Victor might leave (captured family? Trying to protect Rick?) But now it's Victor who Rick broods over and it's made extra worse by realizing that it's really hard to hate someone who's so damn noble and apologetic over what happened and Sam, stop giving me those looks when I rant about him, damn it.
There Is Not Nearly Enough Booze In This Room
Victor shows up in Casablanca (one of this scenarios where neither met Ilsa?) and Rick decides that absolutely, he is not getting himself involved in that kind of trouble. Nope. He doesn't care how attractive Victor is or how much he begrudgingly admires the man for sticking to his ideals. That kind of trouble just isn't worth it and he's going to stick to his business and not get sucked into any of this man's—well, that lasted all of two seconds before someone got shot and needs to be patched up while gazing into the other's eyes.
Yes, I Love The Trope Where The Old Cynic Finds A New Reason To Fight
Maybe Rick never left the fight and took off for Casablanca, but stayed behind to help however he could. He's burnt out, though, getting cynical about whether anything he does makes a difference and he's starting to get reckless, hoping that he can go out in a blaze of glory. And then Victor shows up and it seems like a sign, to get him to safety by any means. Now if only Victor would stop trying to save Rick as well, once he realizes how much a toll Rick's work has taken on him.

This is just such a sleazy movie and I mean it in all the best ways! You've got Paul Williams as the creepy producer, Swan and to reconcile that this is the same man who the Rainbow Connection and the lyrics to The Love Boat theme is to be delighted by his multitudes. And Finley as Leach is just a treat, alternating between sad woobie and crazed murderer, as all the best Phantoms do. Then you've just got their scenes together, in which Swan is all but telling Winslow that yes, I'm the worst person in the world and hey, did I mention that you can totally trust me to help you out? I mean, I knew I couldn't trust Swan just looking at his haircut, but Winslow is the type of person that keeps believing the snake when it tells him it won't bite him again, even as its eyes flicker with hunger and something more...

Maybe Swan realizes that it's all well and good to steal some music from Winslow, but the real treasure is in stealing the man himself. I really love how you can tell Swan respects that Leach is a musical genius and also knows that he will have to plunder every bit of that, not just because of the whole deal with the devil, but also because it's the record industry and that's just how it goes. After all, you can give a man a fish and he's fed for a day, but if you teach a man how to utterly devote himself to you and attend to your every need, well, you're going to be eating well for a lifetime.
Canon Divergence: No Sophomore Slump Here
Swan spares Phoenix on one condition – that Winslow abide by the terms of the contract completely: "The party of the first part gives the party of the second part and his associates full power to do with him at their pleasure. To rule, to send, to fetch, or carry him or his, be it either body, soul, flesh, blood or goods." Winslow resigns himself, perhaps, to living a life of eternal pain and torment, but he hadn't really counted on the worst part of it all: the pleasure and growing to enjoy it (Swan totally had).
What? You Never Bought An Album Based on the Cover Art?
It's pretty clear that Swan's attraction to someone is not defined not by gender or sexuality, but by beauty. So I have a couple of ideas about that – maybe it's one of those delightful reincarnation things and Winston wakes up in a new body. Unfortunately, Swan also got the same deal as him and he's figured out who Winston is long before Winston has a clue about Swan. Or no reincarnation needed – turns out weird science experiments of the 70s have fantastic results and now Winston is a pretty young thing with talent that's forever bound to Swan. (By the way, feel free to do any sort of gender changes you want to here.)

Sneakers (1992)

Whether you view it as jilted ex-lover or just brokenhearted best friend, it's pretty clear Cosmo's torn between being furious at Martin for his perceived abandonment and his desire to work with him again as partners. There are so many points where his plans would have worked so much better if he had just killed Martin and yet he can't even pull the trigger at the end when he's got him dead to rights. (Okay, yeah, he did tell that guy to kill his friend, but I have to believe he knew Martin would get out of it because he knows him.) I'd really like something set in the present to post-movie part – their backstory is tragic and sets up the conflict well, but I like them as older men, having to deal with perceived betrayals, double crosses, and nebulous plans.

I'm Sure The Government Will Totally Let That Major Plot Point Slide
It seems the movie leaves a couple of big plot points dangling at the end - Cosmo's still out there with the Mafia and Martin and the gang are kind of being public with their hacking. What happens when people do the math and Martin has to go on the run from multiple people with Cosmo, who may or may not also be on the run? It's hard to know with him, given they still have some minor trust issues, what with the whole abandonment thing.
You Can't Tell Me Cosmo Would Just Give Up Like That and Go Home
What if the ending was just a dream and Martin wakes up to Cosmo scowling at him because either he fell off the roof at the climax or Cosmo really did shoot him and then immediately regretted it (he totally spent day and night at Martin's bedside until he woke up but denies it). I would also not be averse to Martin realizing, wait a second, aren't I supposed to be in a hospital and Cosmo looking shady and maybe he might have kidnapped him, but it's fine because the feds were looking for you anyhow and they can't be allowed to get their hands on you.
It's A Happy Ending If You Overlook The Blackmail
Martin doesn't refuse Cosmo the first time he asks him to join him, or Cosmo decides that he'll have Martin working with him no matter what cost (or threat/coercion). How do they work together, considering Martin willingly does at the end something similar (even if it's small scale) to what Cosmo wanted all along?

Three Days of the Condor (1975)

I'm kind of a sucker for these type of dynamics – suave, professional assassin hunting a less experienced, but more creative person on the run, who then meet face to face only to realize that they're not so different after all (even the non-assassin doesn't want to admit it). And Three Days of the Condor is just so great with this! I love Joubert, all classy and calm, growing to respect and possibly even root for Turner (that last speech he gives him is just perfect). Then there's Turner, outwitting everyone until the very end, rejecting Joubert's advice, but not his gun, because there's always that car and that day and both of them know it. I'd love to have something more with the two of them – we really don't get nearly enough in the movie with them together, which is such a shame.

It's Not Paranoia If They're—Look We All Know How This Goes (Or Do We?!)
There's a lot of ground that could be covered after the movie – it's left deliberately ambiguous as to whether anything will be revealed or if the truth will just be buried under bureaucracy and bullshit, so I'd love to see where it goes from there. Does Turner get himself in a situation he can't get out of on his own (that car ride to nowhere) and Joubert ends up saving his life? Or does it all come out and—nothing happens, nothing changes, and now Turner has to reckon with that (perhaps Joubert helps him do so in more hospitable surroundings?)
Really, It's A Growth Industry
I'd love a canon divergence where Turner had taken Joubert up on his offer – maybe out of desperation, maybe because he thought he could expose a larger conspiracy, but in either case, there they are jetsetting around the world, training in the field of professional assassination. Or maybe Joubert makes the offer even earlier – perhaps he gets his hands on Turner before anyone else does, sensing potential and partnership.
Oh, There's Always Time For Bleak Conspiracy
I'm also deeply into AU for this as well – I love the 70s setting, but I feel like this story would work well in others. Film noir seems natural with the hunted protagonist trying to clear his name and expose a dark secret while he's chased down by nebulous foes. Or something more futuristic could mesh nicely; cyberpunk with all its corporate espionage and grim outlook seems a natural fit. And lastly, vampires. I don't have any concrete ideas about this – I just like vampire AUs for everything!

야차 | Yaksha: Ruthless Operations (2022)

Once in a while, the Netflix algorithm gives you a gem and Yaksha: Ruthless Operations is one for sure. It's got one of my favorite dynamics to start off with. First, you've got a buttoned-up guy reluctantly entangled in a matter that tests him and forces him to open his eyes to the fact that things aren't always as black and white as they appear to be. Then you've got a cynical hardass leader of a team that thinks very little of the man who keeps getting in the way until he proves to have some hidden skills and then before you know it, Han Ji Hoon has traded in his suit for a leather jacket and Ji Kang In is saying things like “it has to be you” and calling him first at the end when he gets the team back together for another job. They're just so much fun together and really, if you want a hot older man to seduce your prosecutor/cop, Sol Kyung-gu (Kang In) is one of the best around.

They Didn't Pay All That Money For CGI Landmarks For Nothing
The movie definitely ends on some nice sequel bait, so what happens “Yaksha” calls “Nike” back into the field? I could see something where Kang In keeps making up reasons to have Ji Hoon work with them – maybe the rest of the team catch on long before Ji Hoon does, or they get a new member who gets fed up and goes “look, I know you want to fuck him, but he's not--” and that's when Jeong-dae chloroforms him as Ji Hoon looks on blankly.
With The Tenth Rescue, You Get A Free Bungeoppang
Maybe one of them gets into trouble and the other one has to save them – Kang In breaks Ji Hoon out of interrogation and now they're on the run and Ji Hoon's pretty sure he's just never going to get back to his office again. Or Ji Hoon uses his legal skills to get Kang In out of a bind more than once and the team begins to appreciate the value of having someone who can just bury you with paperwork.
No Matter How Bad It Is, Kang In Can Always Make It Worse
Ji Hoon met Kang In a different way - maybe he was fully kicked out of the prosecutor's office and lost everything until he ran into the middle of one of Kang In's field operations and didn't immediately get shot or arrested. Obviously, that means he's perfect for the job, especially when Kang In runs his file and figures out exactly how useful he might be. Alternately, Kang In is the one on thin ice and Ji Hoon is brought into oversee his interrogation until Kang In decides he's not going to stick around for it and takes Ji Hoon as an unwilling souvenir on his way out.

Penny Dreadful (TV)

As much as I loved Ethan and Vanessa together, I was always intrigued by the relationship between Malcolm and Ethan. It seemed like Malcolm was less close to Ethan than his other "children" (maybe because Ethan was like him) . And then season 3 hit and all of a sudden Malcolm's mission was getting Ethan back and we had daddy issues all over the place with a biological father and a werewolf father and Malcolm shooting Ethan's bio dad to save him in a church and I started going, wow, that escalated quickly (the unofficial motto of Penny Dreadful). And I'm a sucker for people coming together because of grief over a mutual loved one - and wow, do Malcolm and Ethan have a lot to grieve over. I love that basically, the two of them decided "we're done running from our problems so we'll just dwell in them instead."

The Next Stage After Acceptance Is Making Terrible Decisions
I'd love something with the two of them set after the series. I think it leaves it in an interesting place - Ethan's vowed to stay with Malcolm, but no one's in a good mental space and it's not like it's a happy ending just because evil was defeated (temporarily). I mean, Ethan's still a werewolf so there's that to angst about and Malcolm just lost another daughter, so there's plenty of room for people thinking about all the terrible life decisions they've made and deciding to make more by sleeping with each other.
Pour One Out For Old Varney, Who Never Got His Break in Hollywood
There's a lot of monsters out there that they could still run into. After all, the penny dreadful field was full of creatures that never made it to the show – Spring Heeled Jack would be a prime candidate to menace the streets, or perhaps there's more than one “resurrection man” digging up corpses. And of course, gothic novels would be fitting too – you can't tell me that Ethan's religious connections wouldn't be interesting if run up against a certain Monk while he and Malcolm trip around Europe.
No, Malcolm, Just No
I'd also take a different first meeting – maybe Ethan never gets involved in the events of the first season and as a result, everything goes quite literally to Hell. Malcolm now has to figure out how to save Vanessa, figure out what the deal is with his newest hire, and do all of this while having the resources but not nearly the people skills to get a team together and save the world.
This pinch hit can be fulfilled with one 5,000-word story.

as someone who loves sakura, i’m always intrigued by people who see or “get” her for who she is — someone smart and powerful who has trained hard to become the person she is — and i think sasori is or could be one of those people. but that doesn’t mean he’s not an evil bastard who wants to or is at least willing to hurt her to further his goals and for his own pleasure.
i would be extremely interested to see a story that starts from a significant canon diversion or alternate universe (think the butterfly flapping its wings and the ripples resulting in missing-nin!sakura OR a science fiction AU where they’re on opposite sides of another conflict OR a seedy criminal underground AU, i’m open to lots of possibilities!) and explores what their relationship could have been in a different context. i’m a HUGE fan of toxic romances with ambiguously “”happy”” endings as well as coercion and dub/noncon, and i think sasori is PERFECT for all of these. that said, i'd also be totally down with an ending where sakura gets out and/or gets revenge for the things sasori has put her through.

Vikings (TV)

vikings is one of those shows that obsesses me because it left so much meat on the bone and is so, so flawed, and i love to see people play in that space and make the most of it.
ivar is my favorite character in the show and one of my favorites of all time, and i would love to see anything that gives him the time and space to be human that the show ultimately struggled to give him. additionally/alternately, his relationship with hvitserk is tragic and fascinating and i’m really invested in the ways that they finally start to heal together towards the end of the series.
i would love to see anything that explores his growth and development during s6. how does he finally come to terms with what a fucked up guy his father was? how does being a support for igor change things for him? he’s got a lot of stuff he’s dealing with for the first time on his own away from most of his brothers.

i’m so into both of these characters, so naturally i love to see them together.
i would love any kind of exploration into how and why a relationship might develop between the two of them, and what it would look like. there are complicated older/younger and mentor/mentee dynamics that could be at play at the same time as the current/former enemies one that they have in canon, and i’m down to play in that space. they also obviously both have very complicated relationships to jinx, and i’m interested to see how that would complicate things further. there's no need to smooth over all aspects of their rivalry and the violence that's transpired between them, i'm more than comfortable with an on-and-off, vaguely toxic relationship.
some jumping off points might be: what if the s1 ending went differently (Silco didn't die? Vi talked Jinx off the "blowing up the council" ledge?) and Vi stuck around in Zaun to stay close to Jinx? what if Vi were secretly splitting her time between the upper city and the lower? what if Vi tried to follow some lead on Silco/Jinx/her imprisonment from her time in prison and it led her to Sevika's door?

- As a Ravenclaw, Hermione didn’t have much of an opinion about Harry Potter. Oh, there were all sorts of stories, but they were all so outrageous that they had to be lies. That changed in their fifth year when he started the DA and started pushing all of her teacher fantasy buttons without the pesky practical and ethical problems associated. Well, one practical problem: Cho was also interested in him, but considering why, keeping them from getting together was practically a public service.
- Harry and Hermione dated in fifth year and it was a legendary disaster. Harry was a jealous, overprotective monster and Hermione was a nagging, controlling nightmare. The entire school breathed a sigh of relief when the two broke up, even if they were confused as to how they went back to being friends with no apparent hard feelings. In actuality, they never broke up and the whole thing was just an act to hide their relationship.
- "I have to warn you, I've heard relationships based on intense experiences never work." After hearing that line in Speed, Harry wonders if this is the reason why his relationships with Cho and Ginny imploded. It makes him wonder if dating Hermione would work better. Not that she hadn't gone through intense experiences with him, but rather because they've gone through so many together that they sort of average out.

It's very difficult to write something for this fandom that I won't enjoy. If you want some specific ideas:
- Shikako confronting the fact that she's famous enough that there are Shikako impersonators out there.
- When you're an older brother, dealing with your younger sister having a crush on one of your friends is just one of those things that you have to put up with. It was perfectly natural, if somewhat annoying, and they'd grow out of it. Maybe if Shino repeated that enough times he'd be able to convince himself to ignore Chiyako's crush on Sasuke. Wait, it's not Sasuke? That's a relief. No, actually, Shikako is even worse.
- Shikako as a first time exchange mod complete with Kiba spreading rumors ("Legend has it that as long as you haven't submitted your fic yet, Shikabane-hime will keep you alive, but if you default after the deadline, she'll banish your soul to hell!" "How are there legends when this is my first exchange?"), dealing with the fact that the Icha Icha Paradise and Icha Icha Tactics books are the same universe, but the movies are in different continuities and explaining to Gaara the definitions of NSFW fanfic terms. Oh and about 200 people signing up for her exchange when she was expecting maybe 10, because they listened to Kiba and wanted that extra bit of insurance for a dangerous mission.
- Team Seven is mentally sent back in time to the day of their genin test. Kakashi: "I've known from the beginning that if I take my eyes off of you three for just five minutes, the world will burn. The difference between then and now is that I no longer care. You guys all know how to forge my handwriting and my chakra signature. Go nuts, but don't do anything that will interrupt my reading time."

This is basically a continuation of the DoS request, except with some crossover relationships. Again, I'd probably be happy with anything you write but if you want some ideas:
- Shikako is wandering across Westeros and keeps on bumping into Arya Stark. Shikako must remind Arya of someone else because every time they meet, Arya tells her "Not today."
- Joker New Game+s from vanilla Persona 5 to Royal. There are enough differences that he doesn't really pay much attention when Shikako transfers in in the middle of the school year.
- Shikako would be the first to tell you that she isn't a goddess. That doesn't change the fact that Jack wrote a standard operating procedure for Stargate Command detailing how to properly pray to her for aid. It took him a week to figure out how to phrase things so that it didn't sound like he was telling people to pray.
- It didn't take too long for Shikako to figure out that she'd be reborn into Star Wars, but she didn't think too much about the fact that she was named Padme Naberrie. Padme was a pretty common name on Naboo, and it just made it funnier when her sister convinced her to run for queen as a joke. Then there was a corruption scandal and somehow Shikako won, and things were a lot less funny when she was given the regnal name Amidala.
- Reborn in what she considered the modern world, Shikako was getting paranoid about her new life since plot hadn't happened yet, but then what seemed like a living Barbie doll showed up on Venice Beach.
- Shikako is reborn in Malibu, and once she realizes that her next door neighbor is a teenage astronaut named Barbie, Shikako decides to take it easy this lifetime. After all, it's not like there was ever a vampire hunter Barbie or an alien resistance fighter Barbie. Barbie is frustrated that the one person who can keep up with her has absolutely no interest in applying herself, and decides to apply her formidable intellect and drive to motivate Shikako to do something more challenging than her Naruto self insert fanfic.
- Reborn as Endeavor's daughter, Shikako decided to give dear old dad everything he wanted in the worst way possible, and adopted a hero persona that is a mortifying combination of All Might and Might Gai. Now the number two hero Might Gal, she's offered an internship to one Shoto's classmates and he will pay money if they turn her down.

I like N. I also like Noah. I especially like the way they compare and contrast. I would love to see you dig into character and/or relationship studies for them. I ship them like fedex and would love to see that too, but if you're more comfortable with it you can just leave them platonic. Likewise, I also ship M/Mio/N/Noah as a poly ot4 if you're so inclined to include that. (Or just Mio/N/Noah if that lines up better with where you want to put it in the timeline...) I'm generally not one for fluff with nothing else though, so if you go the shippy route maybe also add some angst or hurt to balance it out.
Some more specific prompts, if you want them:
Canon unfortunately never really shows Noah grappling with his ties to N after the events of the eclipse. I'd love to see the process that makes him go from "you're full of shit, you're just a coward" to "if I were in your shoes I'm sure I'd have done the same". I do personally think they are very similar in many ways; they both have the mindset that lets them take drastic measures to change the status quo, whether that's becoming moebius or smashing flame clocks, and I really dig that that trait is what led to N turning to evil while also allowing Noah to put an end to Aionios. What is the process of Noah figuring this out? How does he grapple with knowing he also has the potential to go down the wrong path? Feel free to have him confide in other Ouroboros members about this, too. Sickfic-esque recovery from the ordeal would be great too.
I like the ending variation where the worlds still separate, but everyone stays as they are at the end of Aionios. (Yes, this also means the original inhabitants of the two worlds are gone in this scenario; as I want nothing from FR, this also means I do not want Rex or Shulk in this. In this verse, they are also gone.) I also, unsurprisingly, like takes where N and M end up in the separated worlds as well, whether that's because they never sacrificed themselves or because Origin revived them during the separation. I'm leaving it up to you whether the two worlds can still communicate after that or not; if they can, some longdistance poly would be cool here! I'd like to see N and Noah grapple with what it means to replace the original inhabitants and their struggles with getting used to living in a normal world, while also learning more about it means to be two parts of the same person.
More exploration of what happened when N and Noah merged. Did they share their selves? Does Noah have N's memories now? Could they talk to one another mentally? What if that state were to continue past the separation; regardless of whether you use the above verse or go with canon? Bodysharing is a fun trope.
Canon goes from defeating N for real to the final battle with basically nothing in between, but what if for whatever reason they had to leave and do something else first? (Like dealing with X and Y, maybe; you don't need to focus on them or anything, would just be a convenient reason since canon did nothing interesting with them anyway.) You could have N come with them in the flesh, without merging, or go with the bodysharing trope. I really wanted N to be a hero character so something mimicking an ascension quest for him wedged between his boss battle and the ending sequence would be great!
N and Noah hairstyle swap. I don't really care about the context for this, I just love the idea so if you can fit it into your idea that would be amazing.

I have always been very interested in the fictional source canons these two characters come from, and I've always wanted More. So, for this request, I'd like to see you expand on the few sparse hints we got and invent some fictional fiction! You can just novelise excerpts if you want, or it could take the form of someone writing reviews on the canon(s), I think both of those could be really cool.

Fandom-specific DNW: Dion/Joshua
I like Dion/Terence and am fine with it being in the fic, but I still don't want entirely ship-centric fic about it. Them being lovers is fine; please no tons of lovey dovey scenes though.
Some things I'd like to see for this:
-Dion and his father have a really fraught relationship, between Dion's own origins and Sylvestre so blatantly casting him aside for Olivier in the course of the story. I'd love to see a deep dive into this, into whatever insecurities or doubts Dion has about how his father actually feels about him, and about how Sylvestre ACTUALLY feels about him; and about how Bahamut plays into this. (Would Sylvestre have taken Dion in if not for Bahamut, for example?) Involvement by Anabella and Olivier is fine and cool.
-Dion and Bahamut. It's entirely possible that Bahamut is the only reason Sylvestre acknowledged him as his son, so Dion must also have a fraught relationship with Bahamut. The reason for his station, the symbol of hope for his people, the curse shortening his life... and later on perhaps a curse of a different kind... fascinating stuff.

I do ship these two and I'm fine with shippy content, but I don't enjoy pure shippy fluff fics. Purely platonic is also alright!
I'm a sucker for these two and their complicated relationship. Sandalphon's feelings of being insufficient, the lingering resentment of Lucifer that came from them and the subsequent resolution and guilt on his part after Lucifer died—and also Lucifer's lonely burden and resolve, and his fondness for the skies that Sandalphon ended up trying to destroy... there are LAYERS there, I tell you, and the game's storytelling constraints don't allow for fully exploring them. So, fanfic it is!
I'm up for a wide range of scenarios, from fic set in the old days under Lucilius; character study-relationship study combos examining them during the times they were by themselves, either Lucifer during Sandalphon's time while he was sealed or Sandalphon after Lucifer died; during the dream-ish sequence of 000 when Sandalphon speaks with Lucifer; or perhaps in a Lucifer came back to life scenario.
For that last option, I'd love to see Sandalphon grappling with what it means to be Lucifer's successor all over again now that Lucifer is actually back. It'd be cool to see them team up to save the skies, but if it's more up your alley I'm also interested in seeing how they integrate into everyday life in that scenario. Maybe they open a café on the Grandcypher together? I think Lucifer would get some fun out of that, heh.

I'm also very interested in picking apart the relationship between N and Z! There's such a wonderful toxicity lurking underneath with Z being so into N hurting and then still "saving" him from the cycle. How do they feel about one another? How do they interact over the long course of N's Moebius life? Given that N now remembers Z killing him in previous lives, does he have a fear reflex of any sort? What are N's duties as Moebius, anyway? How closely does Z supervise him, what kind of orders does Z give him? Feel free to couple this with expanding what we know of Moebius and their operations too.
Note the DNW on FR here—I don't like the way FR reframed the sequence of events of N becoming Moebius, so please write it the way the main game introduced it.

Monster Hunter has the world's most handwaviest worldbuilding and I am always a fan of seeing it expanded. I really like the idea of telling it via textbook or research essay or something like that, if that's up your alley. Some topics I'm especially interested in:
-Monster ecology. Some of my favourite monsters are Rathalos, Barioth, Nargacuga, Zinogre, Lagiacrus, Legiana and Astalos, if you want to pick any of these. Just generally writing about how these monsters live when they're not busy being murdered by roving hunters would be great.
-Hunter training, hunter licensing, everything related to that. Do hunters-to-be apprentice under experienced hunters? Do they have hunting boot camps? How do they prove they're ready to be full fledged hunters? Do they have to do exams? Anything about that.
This request is entirely possible to do without playing the games; hit up the wiki for info on the monsters, watch a gameplay video or two on youtube and you should be good to go, the game has little to no added lore and I'm not fussy about missing some tiny things for this request.

It's the story of two men struggling with issues of faith and how you can find what you've always been looking for in the strangest of places (and goriest of events). I love their interaction in the movie, but I always wished for more, especially given the ending, where it's made pretty clear that one of them is probably a god that's all primed to be worshiped by the other. Just the looks they give each other at the end - Thomas, knowing and resigned to his fate, while Malcolm has just had an epiphany and it's “oh, if I lost everything that ever mattered to me so I could get Thomas, I'm fairly sure it's going to be worth it.

So there's a lot to work with in the ending – how does the island rebuild its religion now that most of its former devotees have died or fled? Does it evolve over the years and how does do Malcolm and Thomas deal with unwanted intruders? There's also the plot hook of Jennifer and Andrea's escape – do they return to see what became of their family? I['d also love anything where somehow Malcolm benefits from being Thomas's first acolyte (and more) – perhaps the island has its own cycle of renewal and allows them both to live long past their natural lifespan.
Seriously, Tacitus, What Did The Druids Ever Do To You?
The historical setting of this movie is absolutely fantastic, but I'd be interested in seeing this set in a different time period. Maybe something way back, during the Roman Conquest of Wales, where Thomas and Malcolm both end up learning that yeah, maybe Tacitus wasn't completely full of shit. Or something far more modern would be great too – nothing better than going to a place where your cell phone really should work, but it doesn't and oh fuck, now the trees are eating me.
The One Where Malcolm Wonders If It's Worship or Blasphemy
So there's that whole part where the Goddess calls Thomas her child and yeah, it's supposed to be not literal, since it's pretty clear she's never left the island and he's never been there, but what if it wasn't? What if through some sort of magical weird bullshit, Thomas is born from her? I can see a couple of possibilities – one where he never learns of it until he's on the island and then it just gets deeply awkward when everyone realizes that or one where he's on the island from birth and grows up aware of who he is and definitely not crushing on the one guy in the village who doesn't think that Thomas needs to be chained up and drained of blood when he comes of age.

“We'll always have Paris” means a lot to Victor, considering it's where he met Rick. Feel free to fudge timelines here if you need to as well as motivations for why Victor might leave (captured family? Trying to protect Rick?) But now it's Victor who Rick broods over and it's made extra worse by realizing that it's really hard to hate someone who's so damn noble and apologetic over what happened and Sam, stop giving me those looks when I rant about him, damn it.
There Is Not Nearly Enough Booze In This Room
Victor shows up in Casablanca (one of this scenarios where neither met Ilsa?) and Rick decides that absolutely, he is not getting himself involved in that kind of trouble. Nope. He doesn't care how attractive Victor is or how much he begrudgingly admires the man for sticking to his ideals. That kind of trouble just isn't worth it and he's going to stick to his business and not get sucked into any of this man's—well, that lasted all of two seconds before someone got shot and needs to be patched up while gazing into the other's eyes.
Yes, I Love The Trope Where The Old Cynic Finds A New Reason To Fight
Maybe Rick never left the fight and took off for Casablanca, but stayed behind to help however he could. He's burnt out, though, getting cynical about whether anything he does makes a difference and he's starting to get reckless, hoping that he can go out in a blaze of glory. And then Victor shows up and it seems like a sign, to get him to safety by any means. Now if only Victor would stop trying to save Rick as well, once he realizes how much a toll Rick's work has taken on him.

And Finley as Leach is just a treat, alternating between sad woobie and crazed murderer, as all the best Phantoms do. Then you've just got their scenes together, in which Swan is all but telling Winslow that yes, I'm the worst person in the world and hey, did I mention that you can totally trust me to help you out? I mean, I knew I couldn't trust Swan just looking at his haircut, but Winslow is the type of person that keeps believing the snake when it tells him it won't bite him again, even as its eyes flicker with hunger and something more...

Maybe Swan realizes that it's all well and good to steal some music from Winslow, but the real treasure is in stealing the man himself. I really love how you can tell Swan respects that Leach is a musical genius and also knows that he will have to plunder every bit of that, not just because of the whole deal with the devil, but also because it's the record industry and that's just how it goes. After all, you can give a man a fish and he's fed for a day, but if you teach a man how to utterly devote himself to you and attend to your every need, well, you're going to be eating well for a lifetime.
Canon Divergence: No Sophomore Slump Here
Swan spares Phoenix on one condition – that Winslow abide by the terms of the contract completely: "The party of the first part gives the party of the second part and his associates full power to do with him at their pleasure. To rule, to send, to fetch, or carry him or his, be it either body, soul, flesh, blood or goods." Winslow resigns himself, perhaps, to living a life of eternal pain and torment, but he hadn't really counted on the worst part of it all: the pleasure and growing to enjoy it (Swan totally had).
What? You Never Bought An Album Based on the Cover Art?
It's pretty clear that Swan's attraction to someone is not defined not by gender or sexuality, but by beauty. So I have a couple of ideas about that – maybe it's one of those delightful reincarnation things and Winston wakes up in a new body. Unfortunately, Swan also got the same deal as him and he's figured out who Winston is long before Winston has a clue about Swan. Or no reincarnation needed – turns out weird science experiments of the 70s have fantastic results and now Winston is a pretty young thing with talent that's forever bound to Swan. (By the way, feel free to do any sort of gender changes you want to here.)

Whether you view it as jilted ex-lover or just brokenhearted best friend, it's pretty clear Cosmo's torn between being furious at Martin for his perceived abandonment and his desire to work with him again as partners. There are so many points where his plans would have worked so much better if he had just killed Martin and yet he can't even pull the trigger at the end when he's got him dead to rights. (Okay, yeah, he did tell that guy to kill his friend, but I have to believe he knew Martin would get out of it because he knows him.) I'd really like something set in the present to post-movie part – their backstory is tragic and sets up the conflict well, but I like them as older men, having to deal with perceived betrayals, double crosses, and nebulous plans.

I'm Sure The Government Will Totally Let That Major Plot Point Slide
It seems the movie leaves a couple of big plot points dangling at the end - Cosmo's still out there with the Mafia and Martin and the gang are kind of being public with their hacking. What happens when people do the math and Martin has to go on the run from multiple people with Cosmo, who may or may not also be on the run? It's hard to know with him, given they still have some minor trust issues, what with the whole abandonment thing.
You Can't Tell Me Cosmo Would Just Give Up Like That and Go Home
What if the ending was just a dream and Martin wakes up to Cosmo scowling at him because either he fell off the roof at the climax or Cosmo really did shoot him and then immediately regretted it (he totally spent day and night at Martin's bedside until he woke up but denies it). I would also not be averse to Martin realizing, wait a second, aren't I supposed to be in a hospital and Cosmo looking shady and maybe he might have kidnapped him, but it's fine because the feds were looking for you anyhow and they can't be allowed to get their hands on you.
It's A Happy Ending If You Overlook The Blackmail
Martin doesn't refuse Cosmo the first time he asks him to join him, or Cosmo decides that he'll have Martin working with him no matter what cost (or threat/coercion). How do they work together, considering Martin willingly does at the end something similar (even if it's small scale) to what Cosmo wanted all along?

I'm kind of a sucker for these type of dynamics – suave, professional assassin hunting a less experienced, but more creative person on the run, who then meet face to face only to realize that they're not so different after all (even the non-assassin doesn't want to admit it). And Three Days of the Condor is just so great with this! I love Joubert, all classy and calm, growing to respect and possibly even root for Turner (that last speech he gives him is just perfect). Then there's Turner, outwitting everyone until the very end, rejecting Joubert's advice, but not his gun, because there's always that car and that day and both of them know it. I'd love to have something more with the two of them – we really don't get nearly enough in the movie with them together, which is such a shame.

There's a lot of ground that could be covered after the movie – it's left deliberately ambiguous as to whether anything will be revealed or if the truth will just be buried under bureaucracy and bullshit, so I'd love to see where it goes from there. Does Turner get himself in a situation he can't get out of on his own (that car ride to nowhere) and Joubert ends up saving his life? Or does it all come out and—nothing happens, nothing changes, and now Turner has to reckon with that (perhaps Joubert helps him do so in more hospitable surroundings?)
Really, It's A Growth Industry
I'd love a canon divergence where Turner had taken Joubert up on his offer – maybe out of desperation, maybe because he thought he could expose a larger conspiracy, but in either case, there they are jetsetting around the world, training in the field of professional assassination. Or maybe Joubert makes the offer even earlier – perhaps he gets his hands on Turner before anyone else does, sensing potential and partnership.
Oh, There's Always Time For Bleak Conspiracy
I'm also deeply into AU for this as well – I love the 70s setting, but I feel like this story would work well in others. Film noir seems natural with the hunted protagonist trying to clear his name and expose a dark secret while he's chased down by nebulous foes. Or something more futuristic could mesh nicely; cyberpunk with all its corporate espionage and grim outlook seems a natural fit. And lastly, vampires. I don't have any concrete ideas about this – I just like vampire AUs for everything!

Once in a while, the Netflix algorithm gives you a gem and Yaksha: Ruthless Operations is one for sure. It's got one of my favorite dynamics to start off with. First, you've got a buttoned-up guy reluctantly entangled in a matter that tests him and forces him to open his eyes to the fact that things aren't always as black and white as they appear to be. Then you've got a cynical hardass leader of a team that thinks very little of the man who keeps getting in the way until he proves to have some hidden skills and then before you know it, Han Ji Hoon has traded in his suit for a leather jacket and Ji Kang In is saying things like “it has to be you” and calling him first at the end when he gets the team back together for another job. They're just so much fun together and really, if you want a hot older man to seduce your prosecutor/cop, Sol Kyung-gu (Kang In) is one of the best around.

The movie definitely ends on some nice sequel bait, so what happens “Yaksha” calls “Nike” back into the field? I could see something where Kang In keeps making up reasons to have Ji Hoon work with them – maybe the rest of the team catch on long before Ji Hoon does, or they get a new member who gets fed up and goes “look, I know you want to fuck him, but he's not--” and that's when Jeong-dae chloroforms him as Ji Hoon looks on blankly.
With The Tenth Rescue, You Get A Free Bungeoppang
Maybe one of them gets into trouble and the other one has to save them – Kang In breaks Ji Hoon out of interrogation and now they're on the run and Ji Hoon's pretty sure he's just never going to get back to his office again. Or Ji Hoon uses his legal skills to get Kang In out of a bind more than once and the team begins to appreciate the value of having someone who can just bury you with paperwork.
No Matter How Bad It Is, Kang In Can Always Make It Worse
Ji Hoon met Kang In a different way - maybe he was fully kicked out of the prosecutor's office and lost everything until he ran into the middle of one of Kang In's field operations and didn't immediately get shot or arrested. Obviously, that means he's perfect for the job, especially when Kang In runs his file and figures out exactly how useful he might be. Alternately, Kang In is the one on thin ice and Ji Hoon is brought into oversee his interrogation until Kang In decides he's not going to stick around for it and takes Ji Hoon as an unwilling souvenir on his way out.

I mean, Ethan's still a werewolf so there's that to angst about and Malcolm just lost another daughter, so there's plenty of room for people thinking about all the terrible life decisions they've made and deciding to make more by sleeping with each other.

There's a lot of monsters out there that they could still run into. After all, the penny dreadful field was full of creatures that never made it to the show – Spring Heeled Jack would be a prime candidate to menace the streets, or perhaps there's more than one “resurrection man” digging up corpses. And of course, gothic novels would be fitting too – you can't tell me that Ethan's religious connections wouldn't be interesting if run up against a certain Monk while he and Malcolm trip around Europe.

I'd also take a different first meeting – maybe Ethan never gets involved in the events of the first season and as a result, everything goes quite literally to Hell. Malcolm now has to figure out how to save Vanessa, figure out what the deal is with his newest hire, and do all of this while having the resources but not nearly the people skills to get a team together and save the world.

vikings is one of those shows that obsesses me because it left so much meat on the bone and is so, so flawed, and i love to see people play in that space and make the most of it.
ivar is my favorite character in the show and one of my favorites of all time, and i would love to see anything that gives him the time and space to be human that the show ultimately struggled to give him. additionally/alternately, his relationship with hvitserk is tragic and fascinating and i’m really invested in the ways that they finally start to heal together towards the end of the series.
i would love to see anything that explores his growth and development during s6. how does he finally come to terms with what a fucked up guy his father was? how does being a support for igor change things for him? he’s got a lot of stuff he’s dealing with for the first time on his own away from most of his brothers.
ADDITIONALLY my other BIG, HUGE, MASSIVE BEEF with this show is what happened to ivar at the end of it. he's one of the few people we have truly compelling primary source evidence of in the historical record, and it's pretty extensive. he didn't die while trying to take over northumbria, but went on to rule much of ireland for the remainder of his life. THAT story -- of him putting all of that s6 growth to use, of learning how to work with hvitserk, of learning how to be a level-headed and generous leader -- is one i would give a kidney to read.

I know it can be a challenge to think of original ideas for this fandom, but this is my fanfic equivalent of a comfort food request. - As a Ravenclaw, Hermione didn’t have much of an opinion about Harry Potter. Oh, there were all sorts of stories, but they were all so outrageous that they had to be lies. That changed in their fifth year when he started the DA and started pushing all of her teacher fantasy buttons without the pesky practical and ethical problems associated. Well, one practical problem: Cho was also interested in him, but considering why, keeping them from getting together was practically a public service.
- Harry and Hermione dated in fifth year and it was a legendary disaster. Harry was a jealous, overprotective monster and Hermione was a nagging, controlling nightmare. The entire school breathed a sigh of relief when the two broke up, even if they were confused as to how they went back to being friends with no apparent hard feelings. In actuality, they never broke up and the whole thing was just an act to hide their relationship.
- "I have to warn you, I've heard relationships based on intense experiences never work." After hearing that line in Speed, Harry wonders if this is the reason why his relationships with Cho and Ginny imploded. It makes him wonder if dating Hermione would work better. Not that she hadn't gone through intense experiences with him, but rather because they've gone through so many together that they sort of average out.

It's very difficult to write something for this fandom that I won't enjoy. If you want some specific ideas:
- Shikako confronting the fact that she's famous enough that there are Shikako impersonators out there.
- When you're an older brother, dealing with your younger sister having a crush on one of your friends is just one of those things that you have to put up with. It was perfectly natural, if somewhat annoying, and they'd grow out of it. Maybe if Shino repeated that enough times he'd be able to convince himself to ignore Chiyako's crush on Sasuke. Wait, it's not Sasuke? That's a relief. No, actually, Shikako is even worse.
- Shikako as a first time exchange mod complete with Kiba spreading rumors ("Legend has it that as long as you haven't submitted your fic yet, Shikabane-hime will keep you alive, but if you default after the deadline, she'll banish your soul to hell!" "How are there legends when this is my first exchange?"), dealing with the fact that the Icha Icha Paradise and Icha Icha Tactics books are the same universe, but the movies are in different continuities and explaining to Gaara the definitions of NSFW fanfic terms. Oh and about 200 people signing up for her exchange when she was expecting maybe 10, because they listened to Kiba and wanted that extra bit of insurance for a dangerous mission.
- Team Seven is mentally sent back in time to the day of their genin test. Kakashi: "I've known from the beginning that if I take my eyes off of you three for just five minutes, the world will burn. The difference between then and now is that I no longer care. You guys all know how to forge my handwriting and my chakra signature. Go nuts, but don't do anything that will interrupt my reading time."

This is basically a continuation of the DoS request, except with some crossover relationships. Again, I'd probably be happy with anything you write but if you want some ideas:
- Shikako is wandering across Westeros and keeps on bumping into Arya Stark. Shikako must remind Arya of someone else because every time they meet, Arya tells her "Not today."
- Joker New Game+s from vanilla Persona 5 to Royal. There are enough differences that he doesn't really pay much attention when Shikako transfers in in the middle of the school year.
- Shikako would be the first to tell you that she isn't a goddess. That doesn't change the fact that Jack wrote a standard operating procedure for Stargate Command detailing how to properly pray to her for aid. It took him a week to figure out how to phrase things so that it didn't sound like he was telling people to pray.
- It didn't take too long for Shikako to figure out that she'd be reborn into Star Wars, but she didn't think too much about the fact that she was named Padme Naberrie. Padme was a pretty common name on Naboo, and it just made it funnier when her sister convinced her to run for queen as a joke. Then there was a corruption scandal and somehow Shikako won, and things were a lot less funny when she was given the regnal name Amidala.
- Reborn in what she considered the modern world, Shikako was getting paranoid about her new life since plot hadn't happened yet, but then what seemed like a living Barbie doll showed up on Venice Beach.
- Shikako is reborn in Malibu, and once she realizes that her next door neighbor is a teenage astronaut named Barbie, Shikako decides to take it easy this lifetime. After all, it's not like there was ever a vampire hunter Barbie or an alien resistance fighter Barbie. Barbie is frustrated that the one person who can keep up with her has absolutely no interest in applying herself, and decides to apply her formidable intellect and drive to motivate Shikako to do something more challenging than her Naruto self insert fanfic.
- Reborn as Endeavor's daughter, Shikako decided to give dear old dad everything he wanted in the worst way possible, and adopted a hero persona that is a mortifying combination of All Might and Might Gai. Now the number two hero Might Gal, she's offered an internship to one Shoto's classmates and he will pay money if they turn her down.

I like N. I also like Noah. I especially like the way they compare and contrast. I would love to see you dig into character and/or relationship studies for them. I ship them like fedex and would love to see that too, but if you're more comfortable with it you can just leave them platonic. Likewise, I also ship M/Mio/N/Noah as a poly ot4 if you're so inclined to include that. (Or just Mio/N/Noah if that lines up better with where you want to put it in the timeline...) I'm generally not one for fluff with nothing else though, so if you go the shippy route maybe also add some angst or hurt to balance it out.
Some more specific prompts, if you want them:
Canon unfortunately never really shows Noah grappling with his ties to N after the events of the eclipse. I'd love to see the process that makes him go from "you're full of shit, you're just a coward" to "if I were in your shoes I'm sure I'd have done the same". I do personally think they are very similar in many ways; they both have the mindset that lets them take drastic measures to change the status quo, whether that's becoming moebius or smashing flame clocks, and I really dig that that trait is what led to N turning to evil while also allowing Noah to put an end to Aionios. What is the process of Noah figuring this out? How does he grapple with knowing he also has the potential to go down the wrong path? Feel free to have him confide in other Ouroboros members about this, too. Sickfic-esque recovery from the ordeal would be great too.
I like the ending variation where the worlds still separate, but everyone stays as they are at the end of Aionios. (Yes, this also means the original inhabitants of the two worlds are gone in this scenario; as I want nothing from FR, this also means I do not want Rex or Shulk in this. In this verse, they are also gone.) I also, unsurprisingly, like takes where N and M end up in the separated worlds as well, whether that's because they never sacrificed themselves or because Origin revived them during the separation. I'm leaving it up to you whether the two worlds can still communicate after that or not; if they can, some longdistance poly would be cool here! I'd like to see N and Noah grapple with what it means to replace the original inhabitants and their struggles with getting used to living in a normal world, while also learning more about it means to be two parts of the same person.
More exploration of what happened when N and Noah merged. Did they share their selves? Does Noah have N's memories now? Could they talk to one another mentally? What if that state were to continue past the separation; regardless of whether you use the above verse or go with canon? Bodysharing is a fun trope.
Canon goes from defeating N for real to the final battle with basically nothing in between, but what if for whatever reason they had to leave and do something else first? (Like dealing with X and Y, maybe; you don't need to focus on them or anything, would just be a convenient reason since canon did nothing interesting with them anyway.) You could have N come with them in the flesh, without merging, or go with the bodysharing trope. I really wanted N to be a hero character so something mimicking an ascension quest for him wedged between his boss battle and the ending sequence would be great!
N and Noah hairstyle swap. I don't really care about the context for this, I just love the idea so if you can fit it into your idea that would be amazing.

I have always been very interested in the fictional source canons these two characters come from, and I've always wanted More. So, for this request, I'd like to see you expand on the few sparse hints we got and invent some fictional fiction! I like Dion/Terence and am fine with it being in the fic, but I still don't want entirely ship-centric fic about it. Them being lovers is fine; please no tons of lovey dovey scenes though.
Some things I'd like to see for this:
-Dion and his father have a really fraught relationship, between Dion's own origins and Sylvestre so blatantly casting him aside for Olivier in the course of the story. I'd love to see a deep dive into this, into whatever insecurities or doubts Dion has about how his father actually feels about him, and about how Sylvestre ACTUALLY feels about him; and about how Bahamut plays into this. (Would Sylvestre have taken Dion in if not for Bahamut, for example?) Involvement by Anabella and Olivier is fine and cool.
-Dion and Bahamut. It's entirely possible that Bahamut is the only reason Sylvestre acknowledged him as his son, so Dion must also have a fraught relationship with Bahamut. The reason for his station, the symbol of hope for his people, the curse shortening his life... and later on perhaps a curse of a different kind... fascinating stuff.

I do ship these two and I'm fine with shippy content, but I don't enjoy pure shippy fluff fics. Purely platonic is also alright!
I'm a sucker for these two and their complicated relationship. Sandalphon's feelings of being insufficient, the lingering resentment of Lucifer that came from them and the subsequent resolution and guilt on his part after Lucifer died—and also Lucifer's lonely burden and resolve, and his fondness for the skies that Sandalphon ended up trying to destroy... there are LAYERS there, I tell you, and the game's storytelling constraints don't allow for fully exploring them. So, fanfic it is!
I'm up for a wide range of scenarios, from fic set in the old days under Lucilius; character study-relationship study combos examining them during the times they were by themselves, either Lucifer during Sandalphon's time while he was sealed or Sandalphon after Lucifer died; during the dream-ish sequence of 000 when Sandalphon speaks with Lucifer; or perhaps in a Lucifer came back to life scenario.
For that last option, I'd love to see Sandalphon grappling with what it means to be Lucifer's successor all over again now that Lucifer is actually back. It'd be cool to see them team up to save the skies, but if it's more up your alley I'm also interested in seeing how they integrate into everyday life in that scenario. Maybe they open a café on the Grandcypher together? I think Lucifer would get some fun out of that, heh.

I'm also very interested in picking apart the relationship between N and Z! There's such a wonderful toxicity lurking underneath with Z being so into N hurting and then still "saving" him from the cycle. How do they feel about one another? How do they interact over the long course of N's Moebius life? Given that N now remembers Z killing him in previous lives, does he have a fear reflex of any sort? What are N's duties as Moebius, anyway? How closely does Z supervise him, what kind of orders does Z give him? Feel free to couple this with expanding what we know of Moebius and their operations too.
Note the DNW on FR here—I don't like the way FR reframed the sequence of events of N becoming Moebius, so please write it the way the main game introduced it.

Monster Hunter has the world's most handwaviest worldbuilding and I am always a fan of seeing it expanded. I really like the idea of telling it via textbook or research essay or something like that, if that's up your alley. Some topics I'm especially interested in:
-Monster ecology. Some of my favourite monsters are Rathalos, Barioth, Nargacuga, Zinogre, Lagiacrus, Legiana and Astalos, if you want to pick any of these. Just generally writing about how these monsters live when they're not busy being murdered by roving hunters would be great.
-Hunter training, hunter licensing, everything related to that. Do hunters-to-be apprentice under experienced hunters? Do they have hunting boot camps? How do they prove they're ready to be full fledged hunters? Do they have to do exams? Anything about that.
This request is entirely possible to do without playing the games; hit up the wiki for info on the monsters, watch a gameplay video or two on youtube and you should be good to go, the game has little to no added lore and I'm not fussy about missing some tiny things for this request.
