What can you beta and when? (Media, content, length, doc types, availability by calendar): I will not be available to beta during September or December, but will be able to do so at any point outside that (November, January, February). The longer the fic, the slower my turnaround time will be, but I will need at least a week. I won't do anything over 40k. I can take any file type that can be opened in gdocs and return the same file type. I can do spag and give feedback on character voice, flow, pacing, and how well the ending worked. I can also rubber duck for plotting over e-mail or Discord. If you need someone to look over comics and are interested in a layman's opinions, I can do that, too, but it will be limited to things like typos, "This looks oddly proportioned in a way I'm not sure is intentional/a stylistic choice," and the same sort of feedback on pacing and how well an ending works as you'd get with fic. I won't beta anything with noncon, underage, cancer, or infidelity (beyond canon references).

Art & Fic Beta

Specific topics of expertise: Art and cooking. My partner and I are chefs, so if you have questions about the restaurant industry or recipes or anything else in that realm, I may be able to help! I also attended an art school and can chat about things like composition, life drawing, critiques, small gallery shows, relief printmaking, general art school experiences, some art history, famous artists/artworks for your character to hang in their new apartment, etc :D

What can you beta and when? (Media, content, length, doc types, availability by calendar): I am happy to provide feedback about comics in any canon, as well as fics under 20k in the fandoms specified above. My availability is pretty open currently - will update if that changes.

For fic, I can provide cheerleading, light SPAG (mostly a typo check, rather than in-depth SPAG), and answers to any specific questions/concerns you may have about your story. My beta style is "here's a running commentary of my thoughts in the margin of your draft". Unless directed otherwise, I will point out what I like, what interests me, what questions I have, what jumps out to me as feeling awkward/out of place/OOC, and any suggestions I might have. I can also canon-check pretty extensively for BtVS, if needed.

For comics, I can provide cheerleading, suggestions about colours/compositions/poses/clarity, and answers to any specific questions/concerns you may have about your art.

I am unfortunately not in the least bit helpful with beta-ing smut! I'm happy to read it, but am no good at writing or critiquing it. I generally shy away from works that contain any of AO3's archive warnings, but MCD and violence are okay if they are not the main focus/point of the story.

For the moment, I am available for two 10k+ fic. As time goes on, I might be open to betaing more fic. If the fic is significantly longer than 10k, I can still do beta work for it but I would appreciate having access to the doc after the first 20k are written just so that I can follow along. I tend to read through things quickly but ask for a week for any work. Longer works will take me longer.

I won't beta read non-con, underage sexual content, large age gaps (specifically a teenager 18+ with an adult 22+ once everyone is over 30, age gaps are okay), emotional/physical/psychological abuse.

Specific topics of expertise: I'm happy to provide knowledge in the following areas: classical music (including the working life of a gigging musician, being in an orchestra, and music teaching), the American South, Northern England, Academia (inner workings of universities in both US and UK systems), Chinese/Japanese culture (I speak Mandarin and a wee bit Japanese), literature (if your character needs a favorite book or a favorite restaurant I am here for you). Fandoms: I'll always beta anything canonblind, especially if you're just looking for a SPAG and style/pacing issues read. For content, I'm most familiar with: most live-action TV sci-fi, HP, Leverage, MCU, GOT/ASOIAF, a handful of video games. But I'm loosely familiar with a bunch more and will happily pick up relatively short canons, too.
Specific topics of expertise: I think I'm pretty solid with characterisation, voices, and consistency. My studies have been in linguistics/physics/engineering/machine learning, so on the offchance you're doing some pretty hard sci-fi worldbuilding, I could be a good soundboarder for that!
What can you beta and when? (Media, content, length, doc types, availability by calendar): I have no squicks, no triggers, no limit on fic length - though obviously if you give me something that's 60k please expect a slower turnaround time. Generally my turnaround is about 5k per day. Doc types anytypes (gdocs, trackchanges, something else? it's all good). I'm available anytime (except November/first week of December).
