Assignment Swap
You can only swap your assignment immediately if there is a pinch hit you are able to take on instead.
Otherwise, you must let me know before September 14 if you would like to swap your assignment, and swaps will happen after that. You cannot swap to someone who already has two creators, so swapping is not guaranteed. Your chances go up if you have multiple preferred assignments.
Making two gifts
If your recipient has opted in to receiving two 5,000 word fics, or two 5-page comics, then you can fulfil your assignment by making them two things.
It might even be possible to give them one comic and one story - as long as your recipient is asking for both. Or, to give works in two different requested fandoms - as long as your recipient would like shorter gifts in both fandoms.
Treats
The collection is open. Treats are welcome for any participant, and do not have to be above 5,000 words. Click 'Post to Collection' at the top right of the collection, and make sure you fill in your recipient's name in the New Work field that says 'Gift this work to...'
Letters
If your letter's meant to be finished, please check that it's unlocked/accessible. If you're still working on your letter, please aim to finish it this weekend.
Yes, there is a deadline of September 14 for finishing your letter (with consequences). But please consider that the absolute nuclear option, the "You lose! Good day, sir!" of letters. Your letter is for your creator, who is excited to get started. Having it up soon could be the difference between someone getting inspired and even checking out more of your canons, or becoming discouraged and swapping their assignment for someone else whose full prompts they can see. Good luck finishing your letter!
