Nominator, should this be approved as The Suicide Squad (2021) or Suicide Squad (Movies - Gunn)? Your current label seems to combine movies directed by David Ayer and James Gunn. I'm not in the fandom, but I thought they were separate? I'm also not sure who is covered by "various" squad members - could you clarify please?

The Suicide Squad (2021) is kind of an ambiguous sequel to Suicide Squad (2016). That is, it has some of the same characters (Harley, Flag, Boomerang, and Waller), all played by the same actors, and shows a continuous relationship with those characters from one film to the next. They can be watched separately, but they do still share a canon, if that makes sense?

Various in this case is because between the two movies, Rick Flag has been the handler for 20-odd Task Force X recruits and I was interested in his relationships with any/all of them, since the new movie shows he stays in touch between missions.

Wow, okay, did I ever osmose wrong! Sorry about that. In fairness not many sequels are called "The [title of first one]". I thought it was a reboot.

Would something like Rick Flag & Creator's Choice of Squad Members 2016-2021 work?

Yeah, it was advertised as a "soft reboot," but then you actually watch the film and it's like, "...so you're continuing Harley's friendships with Rick and Boomerang from the last movie anyway, huh? Okay."
