Prompts: So honestly, any type of fic with these guys and I will be happy as long as it’s a slow burn. But an idea I have for them goes back to the start where Lux finds him in prison but as a prison guard herself and he tempts her to his side. Or, Sylas is a mageseeker, finds her and has to take her into custody. Another idea is she breaks him out and they go on a long adventure together.

Prompts: I was always sad that there weren’t more interactions between Vincent and Heather because I thought their power dynamic is interesting. I love that Vincent knows more about the world and what Heather represents than she does but gives very little. Just enough to make her freak out and question reality. So, any story based on that would be amazing. This is also one of the few fandoms I lean into the A/B/O situation-minus the animal part-where I think Vincent watching/hunting Heather would fit really well, waiting for his chance to strike. Honestly, go crazy with this one. AU’s, gore, torture of any kind, seriously…this pairing is one where the author can lose their self and I will be happy.

Prompts: These two are detectives and I love how Holder is this easy going, chill guy with a dark past while Sarah is the exact opposite. He is constantly trying to get her to crack and she is always putting up her walls. I would love to see a story where maybe Holder relapses and goes to her for help while in a drugged out state. Or, maybe a story where they’re on a case and Sarah is kidnapped, forced to take a drug as a warning to Holder and he has to help her through it and the aftermath. Honestly, I would love a story where it’s a play on their power dynamic but in a darker, more serious tone that touches on Holder’s drug past with of course a romantic aspect as well.

Prompts: I’ve always wondered what exactly happened during the deal making between Hade’s and Eurydice. I’ve been curious too about how this play would look through Hade’s eyes and his lust for Eurydice once he tempted her into the Underworld. Even though he says ‘the girl means nothing to me’ she does in the sense she is another object for him to posses. What would happen if she tried to run away? Or if she holds back from joining his side? How does Persephone deal with all of this? I love the idea too of Persephone joining in and toying with Eurydice as well for Hades.

Or, what about her growing bond with the female protagonist (and Io developing romantic feelings for her is most definitely welcomed) and relationships with the other companions? How does she deal with a Revenant's vampiric urges? Then there's the true ending, as even though she seems to sacrifice herself for her Successor, the full ending implies she's still alive, and you could show more of how she managed to create that miracle. What dangers do she and her companions encounter outside of the Red Mist?

* Julie Sakuma Dmitriyevich: Julie is my favorite character here - he carries a lot of pain and grief, but he tries to stay strong for Ai and the others, and while he can be cynical, he's also fiercely protective of those he cares about, and being the oldest of Ai's group, he would likely have a different view of the world. Being the father-figure of the group, how does Julie care for the others? How does he feel about having a family again? For backstory, there's his life with his wife and daughter (and Julie was quite young when his daughter was born), or you could explore his grief after their deaths. What about some father/daughter-bonding with Ai? How much does he tell Ai about his family, or does she ask him about her parents?
For romance, I ship him with Scar as they bond over Celica together, and also Julie/Dee; he's already been married once, so would he worry about comparing Scar to his deceased wife, or would the guilt both he and Dee carry lead to them reaching out to each other for comfort?

You can't go wrong with girls with swords, and all the yuri subtext is definitely a welcomed touch. I really liked the friendship between the girls, and I also enjoy the friends-to-lovers trope. All the sword-fighting is good too - even with utsushi, fighting aradama is no easy feat, and one of the girls being injured during battle is also ripe for hurt/comfort potential.
* Etou Kanami/Yanase Mai: When Kanami finally returns from the netherworld, how does Mai react? Does she finally take that chance to confess her feelings? Does their reunion turn intimate? Or are they immediately thrust into aradama-hunting missions again? What kind of aradama do they encounter? What if one of them was seriously injured during a mission? Or, for something more mundane, if one of them simply fell ill instead? For some role reversal, maybe it's Kanami's turn to take care of Mai? Or maybe they manage to steal a few romantic moments alone together? How does Kanami get along with Mai's sisters as her girlfriend?
* Itomi Sayaka/Yanase Mai: With Mai training new Toji and Sayaka part of the new elite guard, how do they find time to be alone together? Are they able to take missions together? What if Sayaka was seriously injured during one such mission? How would Mai care for her? Or maybe Mai is injured instead? Maybe a love confession comes when they're caught up in the moment of surviving a particularly brutal battle? How does Mai help Sayaka recover from the aradama experiments? What if those experiments were still being conducted in secret? Or, for something lighter, with how reserved Sayaka is, would she initially feel awkward about Mai's sisters as her new girlfriend?

Maybe after the events of Lost Legends & and the Secret Fairy, Ryza sets out on another journey and stumbles upon Mylne's curious little forest? How would Ryza react to seeing a cat-eared girl and talking animals? What kind of questions would Mylne have about the world outside her forest? Is there some connection between the moonlings' alchemy and that of the Klint Kingdom's? Maybe Ryza takes Mylne as an apprentice and they start traveling together? What strange ruins might they stumble upon? What more do they learn about the darker side of alchemy?

Stuart Grady/Bill Nash
These two have been breaking my heart for decades. I'm a sucker for the dynamic of a troubled teen setting his sights on his lonely boss, and the interplay between them on their first night together still gets me every time I watch it. I would love any kind of fix-it for these two that sets them up for a happy life together, dark or dysfunctional from the outside as it might be, or that exists in the space before everything went wrong.
Prompts:
• A Groundhog Day or other time loop scenario in which Stuart wakes up the day he first met Bill and has a chance to make things go differently this time.
• AU: Stuart’s landlady never interrupts at that inopportune moment, and the pair has a chance to develop their relationship in (relative) peace before the depth of Bill’s issues become apparent.

Aberforth Dumbledore/Severus Snape
I will readily ship Severus Snape with any older man in whistling distance, but make it a gruff and worldworn one who—like him—has extremely complicated feelings about Albus Dumbledore and I’m doubly sold. Given the places where their stories overlap, I really like the idea of them having some sort of cynical but all-too-understanding arrangement behind the scenes. I’m 100% open to underage if you want to go there, and a canon timeline or an AU ending where Snape lives. I’m also open to some brief mentions of past one-sided Snape/Lily if the plot calls for it, although I’m also more than up for a gay Snape whose attachment to Lily was more aspirational.
Prompts:
• Whether out of necessity, academic curiosity, or a thirst for power, Severus becomes interested in learning a niche variety of magic that Aberforth has mastered.
• The scrutiny of running errands or even having a moment to oneself in Hogsmeade as a Hogwarts professor is too much for young Professor Snape. He begins occasionally having a drink at the Hog’s Head in disguise, and under an assumed name ends up entangled with the landlord.
• AU: Having survived the events of Deathly Hallows, Severus is at loose ends and finds an unexpected fresh start with Aberforth.
• A young Severus abruptly leaves home between school years, or just upon leaving Hogwarts, and gains employment at the Hog’s Head.
• After Albus’s death, Aberforth and Severus secretly remain in contact throughout the second rise of Voldemort.
Argus Filch/Severus Snape
As mentioned above, it doesn’t take much to sell me on shipping Severus Snape with an older man, but this one gets a bonus for segueing so smoothly into the realm of daddy issues and complicated power dynamics. You’ve got Severus, who grew up with a magic-less but intimidating working class father, then Argus who starts off as a marginal authority figure in his student days and then becomes someone he gives orders to as a teacher. I’m 100% open to underage for this ship if you want to go there, and a canon timeline or an AU ending where Snape lives. I’m also open to some brief mentions of past one-sided Snape/Lily if the plot calls for it, although I’m also more than up for a gay Snape whose attachment to Lily was more aspirational.

I loved the flirting, the trickery, the cooperation and the kiss, but the thing that really won my heart was Satan staying behind to confront John’s father and then giving him that little win of an apology from his dad and the “Go get him, tiger.” John has such a chaotic life and disastrous relationship history…maybe the one person he can make things work with is in fact the demon who’s been playing the long game for his soul since all the way back in Dangerous Habits.
Prompts:
• Satan keeps coming by John’s place while he’s out, eating his takeaway and leaving notes behind. John starts writing back, and the conversation goes in some unexpected directions.
• John loses his memory and comes home to what he assumes is his boyfriend. Is Satan taken aback by this turn of events but happy to roll with it, or determined to restore John’s memory—or is he behind the amnesia to begin with?
• Satan tags along with John as a partner on a new investigation, leaving John to both try to solve the case and figure out Satan’s angle.

Edwin Slaughter/Original Male Civilian
This one’s a gamble, given that we’re only a couple of issues into Edwin’s story, but I’m fascinated enough by the character to be on board with whatever future issues or fannish speculation inspires. I’ve been loving this look at what life is like for the red masks, and particularly how someone with Edwin’s neurological setup processes his duties, with his approach to art and scribing being particularly compelling. I like the idea of him capturing the interest of someone outside the Order and finding some unexpected connection. (Age gaps are always a plus for me, so feel free to throw someone his own age or an older man at him.)
Potential Suitors:
• The owner or employee of a neighbourhood shop in Chicago who sees Edwin out on errands
• An artist who finds one of Edwin’s drawings, or whose art Edwin is drawn to

Black Pete/Fang/Israel Hands/Lucius Spriggs
Basically, I just really love Lucius and think he should have a harem of older men wrapped around his wooden finger: Pete calling him pet names and whittling things for him, Fang being ever so impressed with his art and looking after him when he’s injured, and Izzy fizzing with sexual tension around him and getting turned on when Lucius is bossy with him. I’m equally open to Pete, Fang and Izzy being romantically and sexually involved with each other or just all being Lucius’s boys.
Israel Hands/"Calico" Jack Rackham
On the one hand, it was probably a bit of sentimentality for his old buddy Blackbeard that led Jack to insert himself into a potentially dangerous situation to lure him away from the Revenge before the English turned up. On the other hand, he did it at Izzy’s behest. I really like the idea that despite their apparent differences, Jack actually has a thing for Izzy—and that despite knowing that a visit from Jack can be exasperating enough to drive a wedge between Ed and Stede, Izzy has more than once ended up hooking up with him because the sex is just that good. (Not a strong preference, but if it matters, I headcanon Izzy as having met Ed when Ed was already a captain, rather than him having come up with Ed and Jack on Hornigold’s ship.)
Izzy Hands/Roach
Roach made him a sandwich! Food is love, and I have set sail on ships over much less. There’s an appealing potential compatibility there: both of them being experienced sailors who value survival, Roach being open to befriending prickly people and having his own sharp edges (like the ones he likes wielding against hostages from the British navy) while maintaining boundaries for how much dickishness he’ll take, and Izzy seeming like he’s geared to respect a competent ship’s cook/surgeon who’s sewn up his own shoulder. I think they could really get along if they had the chance.
Nathaniel Buttons/Roach
There’s just something about Roach having played Buttons’ cannibalism victim during the episode 6 fuckery that deeply appeals to me. I also love that Buttons is the one whose opinion on the ship they’re chasing Roach solicits over Stede’s in episode 1 and that the two conspire to eat the Swede in episode 10, but being each other’s scene partner is the sweetest. I have a weakness for weirdos having fun being weird together, especially when it kind of kinkily involves one character willingly submitting to roleplaying something the other character seems to have a fixation on.

This is one of those “like canon but more of it, please!” fandoms for me. I love the concept of a crash-landed alien living amongst humans in hiding and not just becoming a family doctor but solving mysteries in his spare time. I love Harry himself, and I love his friendship with Dan and his friendship and burgeoning romance with Asta. I’d be happy to see something that continues to develop Harry and Asta's relationship, something that keeps things at the “taking it slow” they agree on at the end of the series, or fsomething that has more of a gen focus—including ones that develop Harry’s friendships with other townsfolk.
Prompts:
• Harry (with Asta and/or Dan) turns his investigative skills to what starts out looking like a minor crime in Patience, only to find out that the mystery runs much deeper.
• Harry (with Asta and/or Dan) travels somewhere he’s never been before on a case.
• A medical mystery presents itself in Patience, and Harry (with Asta and/or Dan) has to work quickly not just to preserve the health of his patients but to avoid bringing attention to himself.
• Circumstances bring Harry to a conference for family practitioners in Washington State, where he gets embroiled in a mystery—or in some unexpected conversations with his colleagues.
• Harry befriends someone new in Patience and discovers that, like him, there’s more to them than meets the eye.

Gian Luigi "Gigi" Orsini/Lorenzo Orsini
There’s nothing about their backstory that I’m not weak for: meeting for the first time as adults and feeling a connection, Lorenzo patiently inviting Gigi into his life, Gigi standing up to his father and the aftermath. Or about their present for that matter, with the younger brother ending up the patriarch and the elder brother his odd, quiet cupbearer. The way Lorenzo immediately understands the whys of Gigi’s actions and the way Gigi is tuned into everything from Lorenzo’s drinking pace to his eyesight. I’m happy for background Gigi/Lorenzo/Olga, consensual non-monogamy, or something set before Olga came into the picture.
Prompts:
• The more Lorenzo keeps 'happening' to run into Gigi shortly after their first meeting, the more it begins to feel like wooing a lover instead of trying to talk to a brother. Everything changes when he realizes his motivations weren’t what he thought they were.
• What really happened when Gigi returned to Torino after his uncle’s death, and how Lorenzo got him back.
• Opening their first restaurant together proves to be a transformative experience.
• Lorenzo wants nothing more than for his brother to be happy. So why is he so jealous when what seems like the perfect man sets his sights on Gigi?

Scout/Sniper
I love Scout and Sniper's team-up in End of the Line: Sniper on watch while Scout goes a little stir-crazy, Sniper behind the wheel while Scout is scrambling out of the truck window. I like the idea of Sniper being laid-back enough to appreciate Scout sometimes being, well, Scout, and introducing him to some moderating effects of sex and drugs (and maybe rock and roll if there's any getting Scout over Tom Jones).
Prompts:
• Scout joins Sniper for a cross-country road trip on furlough, serving as a (dubiously informed) tour guide for America while being introduced to Sniper's particular brand of bushcraft and recreational hallucinogens along the way.
• AU: Scout and Sniper first meet and get together long before the badlands. Sometime in the early to mid '60s, Sniper accepts a contract killing in Boston. The job hits a hitch when he picks up an unexpected hanger-on in the form of a very fast young loudmouth who thinks he has an awesome camper. (18+ Scout is good, underage teenage Scout is also good.)
• Something goes awry when Scout and Sniper are at or returning from the outpost featured in End of the Line. With communications down due to the weather and with enemies, an injury, or low supplies to grapple with, the two need to work together like never before in order to survive.
• Sniper has his eye on a side job with a lot of money or maybe his pride on the line. The only problem? To either secure the contract or get at his target, he needs to turn up with a boyfriend. And Scout is the only one volunteering for an undercover job.
• Look, Scout is great at sex. Really. But if, let's say, he's noticed that the ladies leaving Sniper's camper actually come back the next day, would it hurt to get some pointers? i.e. Sniper gives Scout sex lessons and feelings get caught.
Medic/Scout
So, Scout likes classy brunet(te)s who smell good and can read and always have their glasses on kind of crooked. I want that brunet to be Medic. For his part, while Medic might not appreciate having keys tossed at him, I’d like to think he could be a fan of Scout’s enthusiasm—and youthful energy—if they ever got on the same page about something.
Prompts:
• A series of misunderstandings lead Scout’s Ma to assume he’s gay, and she’s so unexpectedly proud and supportive that he can’t bear to break her heart. If he’s going to bring home a fake boyfriend, why not go all out and bring home a doctor?
• Everyone agrees that Medic would be a lot less experiment-happy if he just got laid every once in a while. While snooping through Medic’s room to find out what his type is, Scout discovers a stash of surprisingly relevant-to-his-interests pornography that convinces him to take one for the team.
• AU: Scout and Medic first meet and get together long before the badlands. Sometime in the early to mid '60s, Medic accepts a contract killing in Boston. I know we only get a glimpse of Kev Kevz as a construct, but I’m really into the idea of Mark having a fellow Martian with whom to explore Earth and discover its freedoms. I'm primarily interested in any kind of AU where their relationship has a chance.
Miguel Cruz/Mark Markz
Miguel is one of my favourite Black Hammer characters, and his arc Barbalien: Red Planet was amazing. His relationship with Mark and its effect on him broke my heart in the best of ways, and it would be great to get some fix-its that help tape the pieces back together. My prompts are pretty much all for alternative takes on how things could have gone down, but any fleshing out of their time together in canon or speculation of some future reunion would also be wonderful.
Sherlock Frankenstein/Gail Gibbons
I can’t remember the last time I fell so quickly for a romantic canon getting-together than that scene of Gail shifting into her real body, walking up to Sherlock, grabbing him by the tie and kissing him (while informing him that she’s always been into weird-looking dudes). I’m fascinated by the thought of how her interest formed, with him having been her nemesis from her teenage years on, and I love that the glimpses we got of a relationship between a ghoul of a former supervillain and a hardbitten heroine were so sweet. I like later in life relationships and age gaps, so I'm a little less interested in them growing up together as children in Rockwood.
Skulldigger/Original Male Civilian
All the themes of intergenerational trauma in Skulldigger + Skeleton Boy hit me square in the feelings, and while I appreciate the storytelling note that canon ended on, I definitely want some softer fic where this ultra-violent demonic vigilante with the awful childhood and doomed adolescence gets some genuine love in his life.

Or, Sylas is a mageseeker, finds her and has to take her into custody. Another idea is she breaks him out and they go on a long adventure together.

Prompts: I was always sad that there weren’t more interactions between Vincent and Heather because I thought their power dynamic is interesting. I love that Vincent knows more about the world and what Heather represents than she does but gives very little. Just enough to make her freak out and question reality. So, any story based on that would be amazing. This is also one of the few fandoms I lean into the A/B/O situation-minus the animal part-where I think Vincent watching/hunting Heather would fit really well, waiting for his chance to strike. Honestly, go crazy with this one. AU’s, gore, torture of any kind, seriously…this pairing is one where the author can lose their self and I will be happy.

He is constantly trying to get her to crack and she is always putting up her walls. I would love to see a story where maybe Holder relapses and goes to her for help while in a drugged out state. Or, maybe a story where they’re on a case and Sarah is kidnapped, forced to take a drug as a warning to Holder and he has to help her through it and the aftermath. Honestly, I would love a story where it’s a play on their power dynamic but in a darker, more serious tone that touches on Holder’s drug past with of course a romantic aspect as well.

Prompts: I’ve always wondered what exactly happened during the deal making between Hade’s and Eurydice. I’ve been curious too about how this play would look through Hade’s eyes and his lust for Eurydice once he tempted her into the Underworld. Even though he says ‘the girl means nothing to me’ she does in the sense she is another object for him to posses. What would happen if she tried to run away? Or if she holds back from joining his side? How does Persephone deal with all of this? I love the idea too of Persephone joining in and toying with Eurydice as well for Hades.

Then there's the true ending, as even though she seems to sacrifice herself for her Successor, the full ending implies she's still alive, and you could show more of how she managed to create that miracle. * Julie Sakuma Dmitriyevich: Julie is my favorite character here - he carries a lot of pain and grief, but he tries to stay strong for Ai and the others, and while he can be cynical, he's also fiercely protective of those he cares about, and being the oldest of Ai's group, he would likely have a different view of the world. Being the father-figure of the group, how does Julie care for the others? How does he feel about having a family again? For backstory, there's his life with his wife and daughter (and Julie was quite young when his daughter was born), or you could explore his grief after their deaths. What about some father/daughter-bonding with Ai? How much does he tell Ai about his family, or does she ask him about her parents?
For romance, I ship him with Scar as they bond over Celica together, and also Julie/Dee; he's already been married once, so would he worry about comparing Scar to his deceased wife, or would the guilt both he and Dee carry lead to them reaching out to each other for comfort?

You can't go wrong with girls with swords, and all the yuri subtext is definitely a welcomed touch. I really liked the friendship between the girls, and I also enjoy the friends-to-lovers trope. All the sword-fighting is good too - even with utsushi, fighting aradama is no easy feat, and one of the girls being injured during battle is also ripe for hurt/comfort potential.
* Etou Kanami/Yanase Mai: When Kanami finally returns from the netherworld, how does Mai react? Does she finally take that chance to confess her feelings? Does their reunion turn intimate? Or are they immediately thrust into aradama-hunting missions again? What kind of aradama do they encounter? What if one of them was seriously injured during a mission? Or, for something more mundane, if one of them simply fell ill instead? For some role reversal, maybe it's Kanami's turn to take care of Mai? Or maybe they manage to steal a few romantic moments alone together? How does Kanami get along with Mai's sisters as her girlfriend?
* Itomi Sayaka/Yanase Mai: With Mai training new Toji and Sayaka part of the new elite guard, how do they find time to be alone together? Are they able to take missions together? What if Sayaka was seriously injured during one such mission? How would Mai care for her? Or maybe Mai is injured instead? Maybe a love confession comes when they're caught up in the moment of surviving a particularly brutal battle? How does Mai help Sayaka recover from the aradama experiments? These two have been breaking my heart for decades. I'm a sucker for the dynamic of a troubled teen setting his sights on his lonely boss, and the interplay between them on their first night together still gets me every time I watch it. I would love any kind of fix-it for these two that sets them up for a happy life together, dark or dysfunctional from the outside as it might be, or that exists in the space before everything went wrong.

Aberforth Dumbledore/Severus Snape
I will readily ship Severus Snape with any older man in whistling distance, but make it a gruff and worldworn one who—like him—has extremely complicated feelings about Albus Dumbledore and I’m doubly sold. Given the places where their stories overlap, I really like the idea of them having some sort of cynical but all-too-understanding arrangement behind the scenes. I’m 100% open to underage if you want to go there, and a canon timeline or an AU ending where Snape lives. I’m also open to some brief mentions of past one-sided Snape/Lily if the plot calls for it, although I’m also more than up for a gay Snape whose attachment to Lily was more aspirational.
Prompts:
• Whether out of necessity, academic curiosity, or a thirst for power, Severus becomes interested in learning a niche variety of magic that Aberforth has mastered.
• The scrutiny of running errands or even having a moment to oneself in Hogsmeade as a Hogwarts professor is too much for young Professor Snape. He begins occasionally having a drink at the Hog’s Head in disguise, and under an assumed name ends up entangled with the landlord.
• AU: Having survived the events of Deathly Hallows, Severus is at loose ends and finds an unexpected fresh start with Aberforth.

I loved the flirting, the trickery, the cooperation and the kiss, but the thing that really won my heart was Satan staying behind to confront John’s father and then giving him that little win of an apology from his dad and the “Go get him, tiger.” John has such a chaotic life and disastrous relationship history…maybe the one person he can make things work with is in fact the demon who’s been playing the long game for his soul since all the way back in Dangerous Habits.
Prompts:
• Satan keeps coming by John’s place while he’s out, eating his takeaway and leaving notes behind. John starts writing back, and the conversation goes in some unexpected directions.
• John loses his memory and comes home to what he assumes is his boyfriend. Is Satan taken aback by this turn of events but happy to roll with it, or determined to restore John’s memory—or is he behind the amnesia to begin with?

Edwin Slaughter/Original Male Civilian
This one’s a gamble, given that we’re only a couple of issues into Edwin’s story, but I’m fascinated enough by the character to be on board with whatever future issues or fannish speculation inspires. I’ve been loving this look at what life is like for the red masks, and particularly how someone with Edwin’s neurological setup processes his duties, with his approach to art and scribing being particularly compelling. I like the idea of him capturing the interest of someone outside the Order and finding some unexpected connection. (Age gaps are always a plus for me, so feel free to throw someone his own age or an older man at him.)

Black Pete/Fang/Israel Hands/Lucius Spriggs
Basically, I just really love Lucius and think he should have a harem of older men wrapped around his wooden finger: Pete calling him pet names and whittling things for him, Fang being ever so impressed with his art and looking after him when he’s injured, and Izzy fizzing with sexual tension around him and getting turned on when Lucius is bossy with him. I’m equally open to Pete, Fang and Izzy being romantically and sexually involved with each other or just all being Lucius’s boys.
Israel Hands/"Calico" Jack Rackham
On the one hand, it was probably a bit of sentimentality for his old buddy Blackbeard that led Jack to insert himself into a potentially dangerous situation to lure him away from the Revenge before the English turned up. On the other hand, he did it at Izzy’s behest. I really like the idea that despite their apparent differences, Jack actually has a thing for Izzy—and that despite knowing that a visit from Jack can be exasperating enough to drive a wedge between Ed and Stede, Izzy has more than once ended up hooking up with him because the sex is just that good. (Not a strong preference, but if it matters, I headcanon Izzy as having met Ed when Ed was already a captain, rather than him having come up with Ed and Jack on Hornigold’s ship.)
Izzy Hands/Roach
Roach made him a sandwich! Food is love, and I have set sail on ships over much less. There’s an appealing potential compatibility there: both of them being experienced sailors who value survival, Roach being open to befriending prickly people and having his own sharp edges (like the ones he likes wielding against hostages from the British navy) while maintaining boundaries for how much dickishness he’ll take, and Izzy seeming like he’s geared to respect a competent ship’s cook/surgeon who’s sewn up his own shoulder. I think they could really get along if they had the chance.
Nathaniel Buttons/Roach
There’s just something about Roach having played Buttons’ cannibalism victim during the episode 6 fuckery that deeply appeals to me. I also love that Buttons is the one whose opinion on the ship they’re chasing Roach solicits over Stede’s in episode 1 and that the two conspire to eat the Swede in episode 10, but being each other’s scene partner is the sweetest. I have a weakness for weirdos having fun being weird together, especially when it kind of kinkily involves one character willingly submitting to roleplaying something the other character seems to have a fixation on.

This is one of those “like canon but more of it, please!” fandoms for me. I love the concept of a crash-landed alien living amongst humans in hiding and not just becoming a family doctor but solving mysteries in his spare time. I love Harry himself, and I love his friendship with Dan and his friendship and burgeoning romance with Asta. I’d be happy to see something that continues to develop Harry and Asta's relationship, something that keeps things at the “taking it slow” they agree on at the end of the series, or fsomething that has more of a gen focus—including ones that develop Harry’s friendships with other townsfolk.
Prompts:
• Harry (with Asta and/or Dan) turns his investigative skills to what starts out looking like a minor crime in Patience, only to find out that the mystery runs much deeper.
• Harry (with Asta and/or Dan) travels somewhere he’s never been before on a case.
• A medical mystery presents itself in Patience, and Harry (with Asta and/or Dan) has to work quickly not just to preserve the health of his patients but to avoid bringing attention to himself.
• Circumstances bring Harry to a conference for family practitioners in Washington State, where he gets embroiled in a mystery—or in some unexpected conversations with his colleagues.
• Harry befriends someone new in Patience and discovers that, like him, there’s more to them than meets the eye.
• While investigating a case, Harry has to pose as Asta’s boyfriend or husband—or Dan’s! Complications ensue. (I didn’t request Harry/Dan, but only because I didn’t have enough prompts. Feel free to either fill this one as containing some genuine Harry/Dan vibes or with it just being an experience that grows their friendship.)

Gian Luigi "Gigi" Orsini/Lorenzo Orsini
There’s nothing about their backstory that I’m not weak for: meeting for the first time as adults and feeling a connection, Lorenzo patiently inviting Gigi into his life, Gigi standing up to his father and the aftermath. Or about their present for that matter, with the younger brother ending up the patriarch and the elder brother his odd, quiet cupbearer. The way Lorenzo immediately understands the whys of Gigi’s actions and the way Gigi is tuned into everything from Lorenzo’s drinking pace to his eyesight. I’m happy for background Gigi/Lorenzo/Olga, consensual non-monogamy, or something set before Olga came into the picture.
Prompts:
• The more Lorenzo keeps 'happening' to run into Gigi shortly after their first meeting, the more it begins to feel like wooing a lover instead of trying to talk to a brother. Everything changes when he realizes his motivations weren’t what he thought they were.
• What really happened when Gigi returned to Torino after his uncle’s death, and how Lorenzo got him back.
• Opening their first restaurant together proves to be a transformative experience.
• Lorenzo wants nothing more than for his brother to be happy. So why is he so jealous when what seems like the perfect man sets his sights on Gigi?

Erica Slaughter/Original Female Civilian
I just love Erica as a character: her competence, her pragmatism, the way she deals with her haunted past and present, and the way she connects to the people she’s trying to save despite her walls and scar tissue. She’s the platonic ideal of the gunslinger who comes to town when there’s trouble and then has to leave no matter the difference she’s made to the community, and that’s why I just want to set her up with a girlfriend who can understand and take care of her as best as she’ll allow. (Age gaps are always a plus for me, so feel free to throw someone her own age or an older woman at her.)

Scout/Sniper
I love Scout and Sniper's team-up in End of the Line: Sniper on watch while Scout goes a little stir-crazy, Sniper behind the wheel while Scout is scrambling out of the truck window. I like the idea of Sniper being laid-back enough to appreciate Scout sometimes being, well, Scout, and introducing him to some moderating effects of sex and drugs (and maybe rock and roll if there's any getting Scout over Tom Jones).
Prompts:
• Scout joins Sniper for a cross-country road trip on furlough, serving as a (dubiously informed) tour guide for America while being introduced to Sniper's particular brand of bushcraft and recreational hallucinogens along the way.
• AU: Scout and Sniper first meet and get together long before the badlands. Sometime in the early to mid '60s, Sniper accepts a contract killing in Boston. The job hits a hitch when he picks up an unexpected hanger-on in the form of a very fast young loudmouth who thinks he has an awesome camper. (18+ Scout is good, underage teenage Scout is also good.)
• Something goes awry when Scout and Sniper are at or returning from the outpost featured in End of the Line. With communications down due to the weather and with enemies, an injury, or low supplies to grapple with, the two need to work together like never before in order to survive.
• Sniper has his eye on a side job with a lot of money or maybe his pride on the line. The only problem? To either secure the contract or get at his target, he needs to turn up with a boyfriend. And Scout is the only one volunteering for an undercover job.
• Look, Scout is great at sex. Really. But if, let's say, he's noticed that the ladies leaving Sniper's camper actually come back the next day, would it hurt to get some pointers? i.e. Sniper gives Scout sex lessons and feelings get caught.
Medic/Scout
So, Scout likes classy brunet(te)s who smell good and can read and always have their glasses on kind of crooked. I want that brunet to be Medic. For his part, while Medic might not appreciate having keys tossed at him, I’d like to think he could be a fan of Scout’s enthusiasm—and youthful energy—if they ever got on the same page about something.
Prompts:
• A series of misunderstandings lead Scout’s Ma to assume he’s gay, and she’s so unexpectedly proud and supportive that he can’t bear to break her heart. If he’s going to bring home a fake boyfriend, why not go all out and bring home a doctor?
• Everyone agrees that Medic would be a lot less experiment-happy if he just got laid every once in a while. While snooping through Medic’s room to find out what his type is, Scout discovers a stash of surprisingly relevant-to-his-interests pornography that convinces him to take one for the team.
• AU: Scout and Medic first meet and get together long before the badlands. Sometime in the early to mid '60s, Medic accepts a contract killing in Boston. Mark Markz/Kev Kevz
I know we only get a glimpse of Kev Kevz as a construct, but I’m really into the idea of Mark having a fellow Martian with whom to explore Earth and discover its freedoms. I'm primarily interested in any kind of AU where their relationship has a chance.
Miguel Cruz/Mark Markz
Miguel is one of my favourite Black Hammer characters, and his arc Barbalien: Red Planet was amazing. His relationship with Mark and its effect on him broke my heart in the best of ways, and it would be great to get some fix-its that help tape the pieces back together. My prompts are pretty much all for alternative takes on how things could have gone down, but any fleshing out of their time together in canon or speculation of some future reunion would also be wonderful.
Sherlock Frankenstein/Gail Gibbons
I can’t remember the last time I fell so quickly for a romantic canon getting-together than that scene of Gail shifting into her real body, walking up to Sherlock, grabbing him by the tie and kissing him (while informing him that she’s always been into weird-looking dudes). I’m fascinated by the thought of how her interest formed, with him having been her nemesis from her teenage years on, and I love that the glimpses we got of a relationship between a ghoul of a former supervillain and a hardbitten heroine were so sweet. I like later in life relationships and age gaps, so I'm a little less interested in them growing up together as children in Rockwood.
Skulldigger/Original Male Civilian
All the themes of intergenerational trauma in Skulldigger + Skeleton Boy hit me square in the feelings, and while I appreciate the storytelling note that canon ended on, I definitely want some softer fic where this ultra-violent demonic vigilante with the awful childhood and doomed adolescence gets some genuine love in his life.
Potential Suitors:

• Someone rescued by Skulldigger on more than one occasion
