Five Figure Fanwork Exchange

Hello there! I stumbled across the collection on AO3 by accident and I'm so excited to see these kinds of fic exchanges are still happening. I have a question about signups that isn't answered anywhere I can see.

I understand that nominations are over, but the pre-existing tags for the 'Characters' field currently seem quite minimal. There are a few fandoms I'd like to offer for but the only existing tags for e.g. ships in that fandom are not ones I'd want to write. Is the idea that we fill in that field ignoring the pre-existing tags if they aren't what we want to request/offer? If so how would you like them formatted?

Sorry if this seems like a stupid question, but I can't quite wrap my head around whether this counts as 'nominating' a ship or not. Thank you regardless for running this exchange - as something of a fandom veteran who's struggled to find community spaces it was a real pleasure to stumble across!
