When I request Groups, I don't expect every character from that group to have an equal part within the narrative. I'd be happy if 2-3 of the group's members were the focus with (some of) the rest showing up in the background, although the concrete details depend on the size of the group.

For those of us who don't care if all members show up and just want to avoid nominating every possible combination of Character A & Group Member(s), the Creator's Choice of Member variant seems like a good compromise to me!
