I'm the Guardian nominator!

For the SID ensemble grayswandir is correct: It's any member of the special investigations team of which Zhao Yunlan is the Chief (so Chu Shuzhi, Guo Changcheng, Zhu Hong, Lin Jing, Da Qing, Wang Zheng, Lao Li, and San Zang).

Shen Wei is a professor at Dragon City University. By Dragon City students I was hoping for any of the students in the classes he teaches, of which we have 2 named (Jiajia and Li Qian) and covering any OCs. I think someone else nominated the Shen Wei/Zhao Yunlan & Dragon University Students, but both tags are referring to the same group of students.

The dragon city university students ones look good to me!

For the SID group one it looks a little overwhelming? Would Shen Wei/Zhao Yunlan & Any SID Ensemble Member work? Or maybe Shen Wei/Zhao Yunlan & Creators Choice of SID Ensemble character? Anyone in the Guardian fandom will definitely know who the SID are.

I know it's not visually easy to parse, but the discussion relating to Lao Li and Sang Zan reinforces why I wish to avoid ensemble labels.

That’s fair enough! I guess I’m just worried people will think they have to write for all of them. I’m planning on requesting it though so it’s be easy enough to specify in my letter that the creator can choose any of them

If it's helpful, I agree with nemainofthewater that nobody would be confused about a request for something like "any SID member." (I should have included Lao Li and Sang Zan in my original comment; I left them off because they're more peripheral members and aren't always included in stories with the "SID Ensemble" tag, so I think leaving them out of a story would also be fine -- but for someone fulfilling a request for "any SID member," they would definitely count!)

(Hah, I had to look up his name when I was writing my original comment, and then I still ended up not mentioning him. XD He's definitely a member of the SID, but I don't see people talk about him much!)
