Thanks for the question! I would recommend seeing if anyone else nominates one of the properties in which versions of these characters appear and going with that. Or maybe nominating two or three so that you can request all of them, and stressing that you don't mind which one you get in optional details (as long as you are definitely happy with, and have some knowledge of, the specific ones you have picked to request). I would prefer not to approve "Sherlock Holmes - All Media Types" or similar, and "Any Holmes/Watson". I believe that you really don't mind, but in my experience, knowing that a recipient wants the specific thing that a creator is creating for them is an important part of motivation over the very, very long creation period of fffx.
